under watered, 1st signs of nitrogen deficiency. Started to monitor water soil.ph Introduced new worm-castings/living soil mix with the transplant into 5lb bags.
Adjusted Feed, added Blood Meal. Upper left transplant stress; half the roots were cut off during transplanting (rookie mistake). Two other girls were showing signs of lack of Nitrogen.
Increased Blood Meal Feed. Plants seem to be responding well to the new feeding. The Stressed plant from transplant seems to be developing nodes, but the leaves on it are not getting as broad as the others. Wondering how the buds will be affected.
Everything is stabilizing as far as plants health. Started LST and conservative/light defoliation. I did a mix of techniques, as I'm new and wanted to see for myself the results; two of the plants were topped 1 is fimmed, the other two are LST.
No Jenny Craig for these girls. Bud development is continuing to increase, checking trichomes and pistils daily, no amber trikes yet. I believe Im about 2 weeks away, so I started to flush.
still continuing to get fatter, a few calyx haven't opened up on the main colas. Watching daily for amber color, there's about 1% so far.
Also waiting for top cola hairs to turn as well.
Still Ripening, no signs over trikes degrading still only 1% have turned amber.
Hairs final tinge looks to be about dark brownish; so I'm also waiting for more of those colors to be apparent. Trimmed to first two layers of Fan leaves, they were completely dead and curled so I figured why not.
AMS was overly ready to help with questions I had on the strain along the way; grow results were exactly within range of breeders listed results, which next time I'll try one of their big yielders "light of Jah" , "MOAB". No Disease, No pests.
WOW finally harvest seemed like it was taking forever and before I knew it I was on my way to the store for more mason jars to fill. This grow started out bad, really bad, I wasn't watching nutrients or ph at all for the first 3-4 weeks. I started getting my sh*# together because I couldn't flower with the condition they were in. They finished right on the 10th week as the breeder recommended.
I dried initially for 8 days, but it took me 16 hours to finish manicuring and jar the whole 26 ozs.
My goal was to get at least 1/4 lb in total and have each plant produce 2 oz's.
