DankGardener All of them germinated. One SD and one BB are barely poking shell out of ground. I will be moving these girls to my tent with my lovely hlg 300l v2 rspec once my current grow gets cut in 3 weeks.
DankGardener I started these autos in solo cups which is not recommended but I did any way to see actually for myself. And I was surprised that not one suffered from any kind of shock. But time will tell. The other 2 are still in solo cups cuz there behind.
DankGardener I had a mice attack this week 😡. I caught him and rid of it but not before he got a couple of my leaves which slowed growth down on a little on one but as recovered and loving life.
DankGardener Well some of the girls starting to show deficiency early this week. So the first thing I did check ph which was off near 5.5 or lower I use drops for phing and I cant get you an exact number. Then checked ppm runoff 300 more than input. Realized I've been letting my coco dry out to much which causes salt build up. Quickly flushed them out got ph and ppm in check fix my watering now I'm looking at new growth for recovery. But overall they look good and still growing I'm moving them under my hlg light and bigger room except 2 ladies I'm a keep under viparspectra light so 6 going into tent 2 staying. Idk how I'm a do there journal yet. Btw the 6 I'm moving have pistols showing already. The 2 that germinated late are behind and those are the ones I wont move.
DankGardener White Widow is in the middle. Back 2 are Cali Snow. Then front o have Sour Diesel on the left, and BlackBerry on the right. These girls are recovering nicely from a low ph in root zone from letting coco dry out to much. But I fixed that problem quickly and I haven't seen any signs of stunting just an explosion of growth. Also there just loving the hlg 300 l rspec I have moved them too.
DankGardener Overall there doing great. Sour diesel not so good looks like I have been overwatering her I'll get her fixed and back on track 🤞. 2 cali snow are in the back. 2 middle ones are white widow. Then the front left sour diesel/ front right BlackBerry.
DankGardener This week is the only week I'm going to apply training to these autoflowers. I want to see how much each plant will yield with only lollipoppin and defoliating. At the start of this week I started slowly just lollipop the very bottom maybe 3 to 4 inches up waited 2 days for next session. Next I measured each individual auto and lollipop 1/3 of the plant further. Waiting 3 days for next session which I only defoliated big fan leaves in the 2/3 section. 2 days later fri I defoliate the top 3rd only big fan leaves just minimal clean up for light penetrating and air flow. I have not done this technique before so this is a experiment for me to see how much plant yeild with minimal effort no lst no topping just week 6 defoliating and lollipoppin. Next week I'll try to post each individual shots.
DankGardener These ladies stop stretching in the beginning of this week. A couple of them I noticed some cal mag deficiency do to flush I did a couple weeks ago to correct ph but corrected quickly with 1 tsp a gallon cal mag but overall they are doing great even the sd I overwatered slightly.
DankGardener Not so good week I began to notice deficiency so I checked ph its below 5.5 which is the problem. And it happened at the worst time when buds swell. So I immediately used florakleen to flush what ever salt build up. This whole grow hasnt went as planned but I've also learned alot from this one.
@DankGardener, autos are brilliant you'll get an avg height of about 30 inch but the flower timing and size is just as good check my dairys out all autos flowers some are 1M tall ... atm I've autos in a ScrOG with 50 main colas possibly plus another 5 plants growing
