I started this grow with a Seedsman NL Auto freebie, but the paper towel germination didn’t work so well. So I took a NL Freebie from RQS and put it directly into the medium and sprayed it with tap water and put a dome above the area. I used the 2 pc Kingbrite 240W LED but I figured that running both panels is a bit too much light for just one plant, so I unplugged the second panel. This caused the temperatures in the grow area to sometimes go down to around 18 degrees Celsius. It took 5 days for the seedling to show up. After that I hung a hair dryer into the room and let it run for 30 minutes every 6 hours. Now I bought a little heater and got the temperature stable at 25 Celsius. A humidifier is at about 60%. I’m still trying to dial in the right lighting. I had the panel at 30cm above the seedling, dimmed down to 25%, some guy at Reddit said he does it this way: Hanging the LED panel 90cm above the seedling, dimmed to 50%. I just changed it to this setup and so far it looks good. The low temperatures at the beginning might have stunted it a bit, but I think this little guy will keep on growing now. Any advice for the lights or something else is welcome. This is the first time germinating in that room and doing just coco and perlite. Last 2 plants also had some hummus in the medium. I’ll add a picture of the seedling later. Copyright of this weeks picture is with Royal Queen Seeds

Do you guys think that she has received too much nitrogen? The leaves are pretty dark green and shiny...

Dark green, shiny leaves are a sure sign of nitrogen toxicity, the solution is to reduce the nitrogen your plant is getting. If you are feeding extra nutrients, cut down that amount. If you are in the flowering/budding stage, make sure you’re using a formula that’s specifically meant for flowering, or else it could have too much nitrogen. If you are not feeding extra nutrients, you may have “hot” soil that has been giving your plants extra nutrients. In that case, flush your plants with filtered, pH’ed water to help clear out the extra nitrogen.
