AUTO WEST COAST OG KUSH DWC

Day 15 - everything is going well a. root tips are starting to appear in 10+ locations on the root riot b. giving the lady about 20ml of nutrient solution a day Day 16 - added lady into DWC bucket, 15L nutrient solution, .5ml/L H202 for res health. Day 17 - Slow and steady wins the race, there has been noticeable growth a. raised the light to 70cm from the plants b. plant is liking the DWC humidity misty gap Day 18 - roots have hit the nutrient pool! a. there are 3 or 4 root tips that are loving the foamy high humidity misty GHE DWC environment. b. the leaves are reaching up for the light, so I think raising to 70cm was a good thing c. still learning lessons with early growth light burn, happened last grow. Day 19 - growth observed Day 20 - growth explosion a. there are many roots in the pool now, some 5-5 centimeters long Day 21 - another growth eplosion a. the lady is really taking off. Ive been reading more into Fastbuds genetics, and it appears that they are very strong, and when they take root, they root hard. I can say that is the case here! Im excited to see her take off!!

Day 22 - Growth increasing a. root system is flourishing in the DWC, many new and long white 15cm roots b. will be adding first CO2 generator to the tent today c. will use 1.5L generator, 500g sugar, 2 tsp yeast, worked great last grow. d. moved light back to 60cm since lady has taken strong root, no signs of light burn. Day 23 - growth explosion a. leaves broad, def Indica b. Roots have nearly reached the bottom of the DWC, +-30cm long. Day 24 - wow a. extreme growth overnight, very indica looking leaves Day 25 - growing like a weed a. really growing, taking off, root system is growing large Day 26 - growth noticed a. CO2 reactor is bubbling every 2-3 seconds b. CO2 reactor is underneath fan to blow CO2 on to the lady. Day 27 - more growth a. will be adding more nutrients in 2 days, the lady is looking very strong, and can take more nutrients. Day 28 - wow, what can I say, I am shocked! a. The lady is growing vigorously, expanding in every direction b. nutrients go up tomorrow

Day 29 - The lady is getting really strong! a. increased nutrients up to the full veg stack b. 800ppm, 5.9PH c. the root system is considerably larger than I expected at just 2 weeks in the DWC, I think it is the GHE Pro Roots causing this extreme root growth. d. the stem is much larger than the last OG Kush that I grew, and the leaves are far broader. Day 30 - growing great a. the increase in nutrients has not caused any signs of stress b. the vegetative growth is very noticeable c. moving LED down to 45cm Day 31 - growing well a. added an additional 1.5L CO2 generator to the tent b. the lady is liking the 45cm LED height, her leaves are shooting upward c. added 7.5ml of H2O2 to the DWC. Day 32 - always growing, now flowering a. added a 3L and a 6L Banana reactor. Easy recipe, 900g sugar, 6L warm water, dissolve, add mashed up banana, add 4tsp activated instant yeast. adjust for water res size. these worked really well my last grow, however I will be packing more reactors into the tent, and going for all of VEG and BLOOM. Day 33 - growth explosion, new future flowers a. growth all over the plant, CO2 reactors are all generating CO2, for this grow I will try to maximize the CO2 production again. b. added 2L of nutrient solution to DWC to raise back to 15L Day 34 - really healthy growth a. plant is drinking alot, she is at about a litre a day. Day 35 - great progress a. the lady is growing very well exponentially

Day 36 - she is drinking like a sailor, and growing strong a. added 2L of fresh water to the DWC, PPM still at 740 b. growth is extreme all over, her trunk is massive at day 36, thanks again root riot c. CO2 reactors are working well, will be adding another 12L of CO2 production this week d. added ScrOG Day 37 - growing through screen a. she is already peeking up through the screen after just one day Day 38 - almost covering ScrOG net a. added 2L nutrient solution to DWC, she is thirsty Day 39 - growing fast a. the legs are already reaching out of the net, will be tucking tomorrow b. added 4L plain mineral water to the DWC, gradually lowering ppm before flush for flower Day 40 - expansion a. the big branches are getting closer to the edge positions of the ScrOG net. b. performed light defoliation, also removed 2 stunted branches that don't reach the canopy, these were first out of the cotyledon location, no need to waste energy. c. performed LST on the largest branches, guiding them outward, so more light hits the middle. d. saw growth expansion everywhere after 6 hours Day 41 - growth everywhere a. added another 6L CO2 reactor to the tent b. removed a few of the large fan leaves, there were a couple of wet spots, this is a really bushy plant Day 42 - exponential growth a. PPM is at 350 where I want it before I flush for flower nutrients in 2 weeks b. there are white pistils coming out from the branches, preflowering c. removed LST wires as branches are in their ScrOG locations

Day 43 - defoliation below the canopy a. she is growing very well b. each ScrOG location has a future bud location c. still have not decided if I am going to supercrop the main stem or not, maybe next week d. below the canopy has been cleaned out, energy is focused to the top Day 44 - filling out after defoliation a. she is drinking alot, nearly 3 litres a day. Day 45 - Light Upgrade! a. for flowering I am upgrading to the TS1000 by Mars Hydro. I will use the TS600 for veg in the future as to not outgrow my tent. b. the TS1000 is at MAX brightness, I think the lady can handle it. c. added 3L of nutrient solution after adding the light. d. replaced airstone with a larger 105mm air stone to the DWC, it is 2x as large as my old one, and sits very well on the bottom Day 46 - Little bit of light burn, lol a. I raised the light to 60cm and took her to 75%, light burn was very minor, this light is much brighter than the TS600. Day 47 - light burn, cured a. I removed the 3 or 4 light damaged leaves b. the lady seems to like the LED raised higher, 60cm, and at 75% power during the preflowering stage, will turn it to 100 once the buds pop c. overnight growth was immense d. added 5L of nutrient solution, she is eating alot, the PPMs drop fast, keeping the DWC topped up daily at 15L e. replaced the 3L CO2 reactor with a 5L, there are 2 6L and 2 5L generating CO2, smells like alcohol in here Day 48 - growth everywhere a. all is well, PPM 950, she is growing strong, drinking so much water Day 49 - explosion a. she has really exploded, growing everywhere, she can take heavy nutrients like a champ. b. added 5L of nutrient solution to the DWC, introduced Pro Bloom.

Day 50 - Growth EXPLOSION! 12cm in one day! WHAT! a. Turned light to 100%, no burn observed, leaves are not showing any signs of stress b. PPMs are up to 1100, dosed the lady hard yesterday with flowering nutrients, PH is regulating itself at 6.0, haven't had to PH down the mineral water in a long time c. 5L of nutrient solution added to the DWC, nutrients are increased a little, mainly with Silicate and Pro Bloom, hitting this lady hard with food, she can take it d. went from 60cm to 72 cm in one day, crazy growth observed, the new light, massive defoliation and more nutrients are the reason e. this plant is a monster, the stem is so thick, thanks root riot - Root Riot cubes increase yield bottom line f. the 4 CO2 reactors are pumping hard, will add another soon, aiming for 40L of CO2 generation in full flower in a few weeks Day 51 - 8cm growth overnight, crazy a. added another 5L CO2 reactor to the tent, also used some plastic tubing (sheathing of ethernet cable) to run CO2 up into the plant better, CO2 is heavy and will sink fast b. she is drinking over 3L a day now, this is more than when I grew 2 plants in same bucket c. added 3L of nutrient solution, mixed at double strength, PPMs were at 900, now they are 1130 Day 52 - 5cm growth overnight a. she is hungry and thirsty! b. she is eating 2-300 ppms a day in 3-4 litres of water c. i gave her another defoliation today d. added 3L of plain mineral water to the DWC after defoliation Day 53 - grew another 5cm! a. the buds are starting to show, good things are happening Day 54 - ***DWC CHANGE - FRESH WATER - FLOWERING NUTES*** & ***HST SUPERCROPPED*** a. running 800ppm for now in DWC full flower stack, including Diamond Nectar until the end, will bump up to 1000ppm over the next few days b. supercropped the main to create even canopy, she is 100cm tall, she bounced back in 6 hours! c. Light is at 24cm, shining evenly over the canopy d. ran the CO2 tubes into the fans to blow CO2 upward e. new bud sites everywhere! Day 55 - flowering all over a. there will be many colas here b. the supercropped main is doing well, white pistils everywhere c. added additional 4g of Mineral Magic, and 5ml FloraBloom, she is so hungry. Day 56 - larger than the breeder states... more than 1 meter tall a. removed LED driver, relocated out of tent to make light higher b. trying to figure out if the lady has a little light burn or not.

Day 57 - Flushing the lady out, explosive growth! a. A big thanks to you, @Bulbi for guiding me in correct direction, welcome to our country my friend. (: I change out the DWC for plain bottled mineral water / florakleen, the signs of nutrient lock out have not progressed any farther. I see many amounts of new growth all over the plant. I will be running plain mineral water in the DWC for 24 hours, add florakleen after 24 hours, will dump flush water after total 48, then will add in 300ppm of nutrients to new fresh mineral water. I am omitting the Diamond Nectar moving forward. Per the GHE instructions, it is not recommended to use during flower, and also @Bulbi helped me to understand the science behind the micro nutrients. I have used Diamond Nectar in flowering before with no issue, but all genetics are different, and this one certainly does not like 800-1000ppm with heavy micro nutrients. b. like my last grow, I have to install dry bags to control the humidity. This one plant, is much larger than my last 2 plants together. c. I lowered the LED to 75%, and relocated the driver outside of the tent. The heat in the top of the tent was a bit too much for comfort, and the light is a bit intense during nutrient lockout recovery. d. once she has recovered fully, I will supercrop a few of the large branches that are becoming too tall Day 58 - flush is complete a. she responded well to the 48 hour nutrient flush b. will change DWC for fresh water and 300 or so ppm of nutrients Day 59 - defoliation a. defoliated the lady big today, she was outgrowing tent b. successfully supercropped a 2nd tall branch, would have hit the LED if not c. increased nutrients gradually to about half of what she was getting, without diamond nectar. d. removed the final 2 CO2 reactors Day 60 - humidity staying low a. I am pretty sure the plant is having a small Zinc deficiency, am going to bump up the FloraMicro a bit Day 61 - zinc a. the zinc def leaves have been removed, it appears new leaves are not showing symptoms b. buds are growing everywhere Day 62 - matched Micro to Bloom - trying to bring the zinc up a. at 900ppm, heavy on the micro, no diamond nectar being used b. plant is still growing like crazy, it is outgrowing my tent, having to supercrop many branches Day 63 - flowering well a. I have managed to remedy the Zinc deficiency by flushing the DWC and rebalancing the nutrients, Micro and Bloom will be equal amounts this week. b. new leaf growth is not showing deficiency, older leaves are already damaged. c. I also changed light schedule to 18/6, due to suspected light stress

Day 64 - flowering well a. new growth is not showing Zinc deficiency b she is drinking 3-4 litres a day c. ppms at 1000, blooms are growing daily d. crystals are all over the sugar leaves, the smell is GREAT Day 65 - blooms are flowering upping bloom nutes a. upped to 3.8ml/L of flora bloom, keeping micro high at 2.4 b. ppms 1100, plant looking nice c. will use trusty supercropping a bit more Day 66 - resin resin resin a. wow the smell has really arrived, whenever I defoliate my hands smell amazing, time to start using gloves b. she is really hungry, the 1100 ppm may be a bit weak for this monster, will start ripening soon c. the PH is regulating itself at 5.9 and all is looking well, she loves her Zinc in the FloraMicro d. having to supercrop everywhere! always produces SO much more resin in the end Day 67 - wow, she is beefing up! a. the supercrops all look great! The resin production is very high b. this is growing very similar to the sativa leaning phenotype OG kush I last grew c. the berry scent is really coming out! the calyxes are very swollen at the tops of the buds Day 68 - buds are swelling up every day a. she is very hungry and thirsty right now b. the smell is intense, ive got a carbon filter, and the correct CFM extraction and it handles the smell if I keep the tent totally sealed, wow Day 69 - blooming nicely a. tapering back the Flora Micro to the recommended 1.6ml/L, keeping bloom at 3.8ml/L b. she is drinking 4 full litres a day Day 70 - added new Dehumidifier a. aiming for super frosty buds, put small dehumidifier in the tent, level is at 50% b. buds are still growing, we are in it for the long haul with her, luckily they arent growing upward anymore, only getting fatter

Day 71 - the smell is unreal here a. the buds are getting fatter every day b. outgrowing the tent big time, having to tie back buds all the time c. we are in the home stretch, about a week or so left d. used FloraKleen for 24 hours in DWC then changed to fresh DWC with Ripen nutrients Day 72 - crystal explosion a. her first day of Ripen, and wow it really shows. I have had good experience with Ripen after FloraKleen always making more resin b. i will be letting her grow to her full potential, upgrading my tent to a larger tomorrow Day 73 - new Mars Hydro tent installed 70x70x160 a. the lady outgrew the width of my last tent, this one is 10cm x 10cm wider allowing the plant to breathe better and settle lower from the light b. the buds are getting fatter and more dense, hairs are fading away from white to cream/red Day 74 - fattening up a. calyxes are exploding everywhere b. the buds are becoming very hard c. trichomes appear to be about 70% milky white d. huge colas on the main stem and all the branches Day 75 - buds continuing to swell a. harvest time is near b. waiting a bit for the lower buds to mature a bit more c. the smell is unreal, the plant is eating itself, the leaves are being fed on for the remaining nitrogen Day 76 - noticeable growth overnight a. the buds are swelling up huge, and so dense Day 77 - started topping off with fresh mineral water, preparing for DWC change tomorrow a. all is looking well, buds are finishing up

Day 78 - time to flush with FloraKleen, fresh DWC a. trichomes are 90% milky white and 10% amber b. the plant has stacked on weight in the last week c. lights are OFF for 48 hours, then will harvest Day 79 - new resin is sparkling all over the plant a. lights to remain off for 24 more hours b. the buds are huge Day 80 - the smell is crazy, love it a. smells like floral berries and diesel fuel b. harvest happens tomorrow, after full 48 hours with Florakleen and with Lights Off c. the Florakleen flush was successful, the water was red and full of residual minerals Day 81 - Harvest a. will post everything to harvest week once all has dried b. I removed all large fan leaves, left all sugar leaves for a nice dry trim later c. dry environment is 55% humidity, 20.1 degrees consistently Day 84 - WOW! a. I pulled off a dried bud and tried it, all I can say is, shit man this has some true California OG, genetics. b. I tried real OG Kush in San Francisco about 15 years ago, and this is its twin. Ive missed these effects! c. may immediately grow this one again, the yield is enormous! The buds are exactly what I expected from OG kush!

This has been another great grow! I really like the West Coast OG strain! Very true to OG Kush roots! Day 91 - the buds have properly dried, have had the sugar leaves trimmed, and is now curing with a Boveda pack/box. I will be providing smoke reports over the following weeks, however smoking the buds right now the effects are absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a strain that you can enjoy after drying, this is it! Thanks for looking at my diary, Swiss SMOKE REPORT: 17 days since cut, 10 days dried, 7 days curing = good smoke so far, real good in a hemp blunt. Very smooth, tastes amazing! The effects are wonderful, very good moods, very good appetite! really strong bud, a ton of resin, very very thick smoke, with white ash! 20 % THC no doubt. I feel like the exceptionally good taste is from only flushing 2 days with FloraKleen this time. I have flushed for 2 weeks with plain water and much of the taste is lost by doing this in a DWC. I will continue to use FloraKleen for 48 hours moving forward in DWC, may try it in a coco grow also. Will report back at the 30 day since harvest time. Swiss ---- 30 DAY SMOKE REPORT ---- I cut the plant 30 days ago, properly dried it and have cured it now for 20 days in a Boveda box with a 62% Boveda pack. The bud is great! Grow this strain ASAP!
