So, got a few diaries up but how could I not do one on a Cannabis Bonsai? Using a humboldt blue dream cbd photo seed. First cbd grow.
Gonna do a hell of a lot of LST, get a nice twisty trunk and take it from there. Not sure what I want it to turn out like yet, see how it goes as it grows, eh.

Exactly what I wanted to see, a short thick stem, no good doing a bonsai with a lanky beanpole 😂 Gonna do some tests at some point regarding led height/strength for different seedling outcomes, leggy and stretchy / short and thick. This was under a shared 100w and 150w invisible sun LEDs at 24 inch

Went a bit ganglier than I'd like but I've raised it slightly, see if it stops stretching. May take some tiny clones with the bits I strip away. Just had 100mls of water here and there so far

Gonna start some gentle Lst soon, just to get it going in the right direction, see how strong the roots are

Tough enough now to start attempting some gnarly bend on it. Had to anchor it in 2 places to stop it uprooting, or at least to prevent it from trying. Gave it a good watering (it's first) with just a splash of liquid seaweed.

Bending and tying it down so it grows horizontally for a bit, let the top bud poke up slightly and see how the lower nodes grow out. This should hopefully cause enough stress to put work into thickening the trunk.

Nearly got away from me on the LST front, must have had a boom overnight. Pretty easy to train, managed to get a little kink in the trunk I think. Also pinned 2 of the nodes down so they don't go straight up

Gonna try put a bit more twist on it before it gets too thick. Apart from that just let it grow up a bit now, maybe do some trimming on it
