Welcome aboard this journey with an exotic seeds strain generously donated to show their genetics. @exoticseed I am looking forward to trying this strain after a visit to their site recently and dribbling at the possible options. lol I went with the Mango cream on the name alone and even happier now I read the genetics and results. The seeds that arrived very promptly from Europe too , arrived very discreetly wrapped and safely in bubblewrap. opening the packet and preparing the holes for the seeds , I got to look at the seeds themselves. All 5 were in a nice condition with a slightly waxy coating that dulled the shine of the husk slightly. knowing this was normal but usually needs dissolving somehow had me considering a soak but I went with straight from pack to medium. I put them directly into coco in the propagator on the evening of the 21st Jan 2021. 3 days later all 5 were up above the coco and ready to "quack" ( always remind me of ducks as they open the leaves 1st time !). 1 of them did have fused cotyledons and would not have opened without my help and steady hand. This is not uncommon in my experience and usually easy to sort. I got to watch her take her first real breath in the process though, pretty neat. Inam very impressed they are up and ready at 4 days now and will give them a few days to settle before putting them in their final pots and beginning the Veg cycle. Please dont be shy to ask questions or make comments. love the community we have been a part of building here. Great to talk to growmies from all walks of life and nations. Be well folks. until next time. 26th Jan and all are up and happy to be in the sunshine. Great genetics .

Day 1: Wow I am a happy bunny. All of these beans are strong , energetic and viable little ladies. I put them into their final pots amd realised I had run out of pots to use!!!. I had to use a 20L for #5 and had a feed mix from a previous purchase which is for a 20L organic pots result. All 5 are open wide and have a nice chunky stem to keep them upright. An impressive start for the exotic seeds. Thanks guys @exoticseed . UPDATE FROM DAY 3 VEG girls settling into the pots now but #5 still needs some help i think . the other 4 are looking a little shocked by the medium I think but I am sure they will settle soon. The lower room rh for other flowering girls is a pain to keep beneficial to new seedlings but domes can be such a risk of mould too. I also recieved some more Exotic Seeds autos to be joining these girls very soon and am stoked to be trying these genetics too. some very nice parentage and hybrids coming out of the exotic range. impressed with the germination and 1st weeks growth so can only imagine the end trestles of this mix and the others coming soon. watch this space...

week 1 is behind us and they are all still alive. lol I do have 2 that seem to be holding back from getting on with growing. The #1 , #2 and #3 are doing good but do look a little shocked by the medium. This is evident by the twists and end of the leaves contortions. Kind of when we taste lemon and screw our faces up. lol. The plants are just on a lot slower time passing existence so respond in very ,very, very, slow motion. I have noticed huge difference in response time like this between auto and photoperiod grows and can only imagine thats the ruderalis speed too. This three are heading towards 2nd and 3rd node growth showing in their tiny bracts. Very impressive looking for seedlings from my recent experiences. The #4 is a weird looking little lady and has set herself up with really narrow coty and 1st set of leaves too. I took her done off today so she can get better light. I hope she improves this week. #5 has struggled from the off. She isnt quite finished off at all and still has something going on in her bracts. I don't have anything to lose leaving her to it for another week. I am excited to be getting to try more of the Exotic Seeds range with their generous offering of 3 more of their auto's. These will be germinated shortly to follow behind the others. Thanks @exoticseeds . Be well all

Day 14 veg: The remaining 4 are doing really well know. Even the #4 has woken up for the fun. 1 is the biggest of the group so far with #2and #3 close behind. #1 is on her 5th node today and I am considering a topping instead of then end over 5 main style i have been trying out. I can afford more height than I thought i could with the autos being slightly smaller than i usually flip them at so grow less in veg. She is also the pot that has the feed pellets in the soil so lets see how she does. #2 is on the outer edge of the light at present but will go under the sp250 soon with her sisters. #3 is a slightly lighter green than the rest so i will watch her in case the pot is not feeding her enough naturally . #4 was the one I wasn't sure would do much but she has settled down now finally andnhss new leaves growing now.i think she will be behind the others in timing only. I am going to germinate the 3 other strains tomorrow to get them into this exotic mix too. Diary to follow !. Be well folks , Welcome aboard and thank you to Exotic for these ladies too.

Day 21 Veg today and all 4 ladies are looking mad for it !! All vibrant and green with plenty of strength in their stems. #1 has been trained this past week by pulling her 5th node over horizontal and keeping it held down by moving the peg along each day. Ideally it will need to be kept lower than the developing nodes from 2,3,and 4 which will be evened out as they progress to be the tops. This will avoid the topping and possible recovery time and also keeps the main intended stem. 7 healthy long thick colas is the intended aim using l.s.t and any other means necessary to get the best I can from this vigorous girl. #2 and # 3 are n on par with each other amd just about hitting their 5th nodes. I am going to try topping 1 and doing the same as #1 to the other. #4 has got more size to her now but looks a way behind her sisters. hopefully she will catch up when she sees the attention her l.s.t siblings are getting.lol So far an impressive few weeks for these genetics. So glad I have another few strains of the exotic auto range to play with too. Happy days. Until next time. be safe and well DAY 23 UPDATE I decided to F.i.m the #2 and #3 girls today so took some pics of their braveness. The #1 has been pulled further down and has a lot of willing competitors for main stems. #4 is still way too small to upset yet and may be left with no cuts and just some supercropping ( auto style). Be interesting to see the Fimming results when done too. F.i.m = Bro science term coined from missed attempts at a straight topping of the maiming stem. "Fuck . I .missed" became the term for this method that can produce some really huge tops of multiple heads if caught at the sweet spot of the node lets see what we get.

Day 28 veg:I see ladies on the horizon!!!!!! Well folks ,that went quickly i think , already moving into the flowering of these impressive Exotic seed girls. They have not missed a beat from planting and have been really easy to work with so far. The #1 has now got her 7 mains all fighting for dominance thanks to the 5th node playing ball and staying low from the ties. I like the results of this method in the other autos I have run so thought it would be a good test with comparing to topping ,fimming the others. #2 is also starting flowering, I fimmed her but I don't think i hit the sweet spot so she looks more topped. I do notice she looks more stretched than the other 2 in flower and wonder if its the topping /failed fim.?. #3 is doing great with her fimmed top and I hit her just right with it. She has plenty of mains hopefuls fighting to the canopy too so she should be a great comparison for methods with the others. #4 having been a slow starter , is not showing her sex yet but I fimmed her and will allow her to catch up in her own time. They all look so healthy and happy in their medium too . only being watered when the pots are light and no added feed at all. lets see how flowering uses the available food in it. excellent experience with these so far. No signs of any issues so far. stay healthy and happy growmies

Day 7 flowering : Hi all . A good week for these Exotic ladies tjisbweek with the flowers starting to show up throughout #1,2 And 3. #4 is a week behind it seems now and has started her flowering too. All of them are looking so healthy and green with some huge fan leaves powering the beginning of stretch. I will be defoliating at around day 21 Flowering and will remove the biggest fans to get light down lower in the plants. The stems on these are so thick already that I am confident they will be holding some nice fat colas up come harvest time. #3 has taken the lead with her actual flowers amd has some golf balls forming up already!!. Thisnpot had the premixed pellets in for feeds and I wonder if that is why she is advanced ?. All in all a good week for them all. I am excited at the prospect of their next few weeks now and am so glad I had the chance to try the genetics. Thank you @exoticseed . I already love these plants and their willingness to grow happily is very endearing.

Dqy 14 Flowering:: Hi all. The ladies are really well now and all are in flower The stretch is on now too with 3 of the girls.#4 is only at 7 days flower so i expect she will stretch this week. #2 is fairly wide node lengths with buds atop and along each lanky stem having clusters of flowers forming. #3 is very similar to #2 in that respect , except her buds are golf ball forming already. They are now on lower doses of Megacrop at 8g/10L water. I have also added 10ml calmag, 10ml Shogun pk warrior 9/18. I will be doing a defol at day 21 to lose the business of their appearance. so far all the tips are visible in light so not too much of an issue but I want to be sure the lowers that will be kept , are worthy of the rescue. So far still little warriors , let's hope the flowering stretch helps them get very busy. Be safe and well grownies.

Day 21 Flowering (#1,2,3. day 14 flowering #4): Hi all and yet again a great week for the exotic girls. They just get more beautiful each week now. Buds are forming well on all of the older girls and it is easy to spot the difference between phenos close up. I am going to do a defol later today to open the right up for the air they need to get around now. They have some really good sized fan leaves that have help power their stretch well but now are blocking so much light to the inner growth too. #1 is medium sized in height with chunky golf ball buds forming .node spacing is not too long but I don't think they will join up with the ones above .#2 is a very big girl and the tallest of the 4 growing .Around 1m now and a good amount of mains to form her chunky single bud clusters . Her node lengths are fairly spaced apart and a good defol will allow them to all see light. #3 is in a 20L pot so i expected her to be slightly smaller than her sisters. She has kept up very well with them for bud production and overall flower amounts. #4 is at day 14 and doing a great job of keeping up oddly. while her buds are not as big yet , her look is more mature so it seems she is trying to compete . All are feeding well but #3 shows signs if mg defects. I will correct it with a feed with calmag but also keep vigilant. They are starting to kick out a nice fruity hit now too. keep it green Growmies

Day 28 flowering: Hi all. The mango girls are continuing to swell with lots of fresh pistils and looking nice and crispy too. They are all beginning to smell so sweet of the mango that they take their name from. A real subtle smell that I haven't had before in a strain . The 3 older plants have been stripped out a littlenand some of their big fans removed for airflow but I did not go too aggressive on them as I did not want to slow them down too much They are not too tall and would easily train even lower for a stealth grow. The buds themselves are a nice thickness and show some promise to join up in the coming weeks for mini donkey dicks.( sorry for the term but easiest verbal to visual cue.lol) I initially thought the node spacing on a few was a little wide but seeing how they are forming , this is less of a concern. the #4 at her day 21 is looking ok but her pot had feed pellets used as the nutes and she may be too overfed. I will use just water for her future feeds now. I am very impressed with how easy these are growing and with very little effort needed from me now beside waterings. I am hoping by keeping so much of the leaf intact that it doesn't stop the development within the deeper canopy. There are some really nicely forming buds in there so airflow is a vital concern now they can only get even fatter from here lol be safe and well.

Day 35 Flowering: Hi Growmies, hope we are all well and in the green. The Exotic ladies have been displaying their skills this week and fan dancing to this beautiful set of buds now filling the spaces. The smell from them is definitely identified as mango now too. #1 is fattening out her buds all the way to below the canopy tops too. She isnt the biggest in height but is pushing out some very nice thick buds sets #2 is the biggest of the 4 Mango cream with a chunky nice looking mainstem that I tried to avoid forming. She had other ideas I think. The side growth is just as impressive too with fat colas forming nicely #3 is the odd one of the bunch. She is between the two lights and lifted higher than the other 2 the same age but smaller in general. she looks way more mature than the other plants too which is odd. Her colours are really showing through like finished buds tend to look pre chop. She smells so strong of mango too. still with at least 4 weeks to go it will be interesting to see how she matures further.. #4 is at day 28 flowering and has pellets as her feednin the medium. She looks a little rough and nowhere near as healthy as her sisters do. signs of mg deficiency are heavy too and I am using the bloom element that is with the pellets now too. I thinknthe pellets have finished being of use now and might have to get her in mx after all. Her buds look OK but need some powering now from the greenery stores. All in all things are going well with these ladies and I can only imagine how good they will harvest now. Be safe growmies ***UPDATE DAY 39 MAJOR DEVELOPMENT*** A major development in the ripening of one of the mango cream girls. #3 has reached full maturity!!!! I thought she was developing very nice colours and a texture similar to harvested wedding cake strains I have done. as she was still really early in flower and in a small pot , I assumed it was something to do with this that had accelerated her a little in some way. Seeing her trichromes under the scope and seeing amber ones today has me convinced she is done already at 39 days in flower only. Wow thats a fast flowering for a plant of this size too. I have not seen any do this before except a barneys farm Blue gelato that hermied at week 3 flower with perfect seed pods and very mature flowers lowndown . i am leaving her a few days more to see exactly what she does but will keep you posted. Happy days.

Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice. Happy days , let's see what she yields dried while we wait for her sisters to join her. Be well Growmies

Day 49 Flowering : Hi all. A good week for these sexy ladies with lots of colours starting to dominate the white pistils now. #1 is the smallest in height but is not being tight on her bud production and is showing that the small girls can deliver too. Her buds are very tight and solid to touch now. She smells amazing and still has two weeks to really throw out those swollen pistils and calyx. She is beginning to push the trichromes now and with the addition of the Dragon force , she should really get frosty for the finish. #2 is the biggest of the whole group and has a really nice footprint to her. Her main is a huge swelling tower surrounded by castle turrets putting weight on now too. An amazing example of this strain from Exotic Seeds. She alsonl smells so mangonsweet up close too. I cannot wait to hit this lady after harvest now... #3 Is dried and now in a jar curing up. she finished at a respectable weight for her 39 days flowering time . I got 2.1oz of really potent dark and dusty mangonyasting weed. The hit from such a young plant is shockingly good too. Her age did not seem to affect this at all. Wow what a plant. #4 is on her 42nd day flowering and looks very similar to how the #3 looked prior to harvesting. They have a wedding cake strain look to them and forna week behind , she looks very close to finishing besides her size. It will be an interesting week ahead with the shogun getting busy and the harvest so close too. Be safe

Flowering Day 56: Howdy Growmies. Hope we are all growing abundant crops with hits like a mule. It is finally the final week for ripening on the #1 and #2 Mango creams. Both plants have started to show some amber trichromes under the microscope but only in very singular points at present. They will be fed with plain water in a few days time as they were fed their final feed of the shogun Dragon force yesterday. The week has been a great example of ripening with the majority of the pearly white pistils starting to go orange initially now turning a burnt orange colour. They both have a few white one still to turn and even a few newly released ones around so i think it will be a few more days at least #1 is a fair sized budded girl and her lowers are going to be a positive addition with no real larf to worry about.I did leave a fair amount of her leaves for the flowering so expect trimming to be the usual sentence.lol #2 has been my masterpiece throughout the grow of these girls amd she continues to impress to the end it seems. She is a very big lady and even after I tried to fim her , she bounced back and created that huge main cola... The sides are doing just as well as the main is and they alone will yield well. She has done her breeders proud @exoticseeds #4 at day 49 looks ready to rock already just like the # 3 that harvested at day 39. Her trichs have Amber's around but still a few clear so I won't pull her too early . I am more sure she is the same Phenotype as the #4 now she is looking so ready. very different looking to the other 2 too. Now comes the patience again with watching the trichromes daily. .be safe growmies.

Day 63 Flowering: Hi all , well here we are, finally at the end of this amazing grow and only the trim and dry before the main event.....The results.. It has been a great grow from the start with these seeds , they have not missed a beat at all. The #4 has been innthe dark now for the past 6 days to try to really push the oils and survival instinct of the early finishing lady. She will be trimmed tonight as I don't want to push her too far and create a hermie now.. She is nice and sticky now and smells so sweet of fresh cut fruit. #1 has been ripening for the past week and even has a few new pistils showing up to add to the contrast of colours too her beautifully formed buds. They are so dense and solid to squeeze too. Her trichromes are beginning to show more amber among the cloudy and I don't want to leave her too long and ruin the intended high she naturally allows so it is time to take her out and into a dark period before trim to drying. As they are all grown organically , the need to flush ( bro-science anyway lol) and allow the harshness to go, is less worrisome. I have always dried intact in the past with no cuts to the plant until completely dried. This took care of the chlorophyll hit that often gets missed when drying wet trimmed and leaf gets trimmed into the bud. I also dry slowly to ensure the chlorophyll gets used up and not locked-in to the bud. Spending so long smelling this Mango aroma , it would be wrong to ruin in the harvesting now.. # 2 is my star of the grow so far on this auto perpetual run. She has been a monster from early days and performed perfectly . Her main stem is a total beast and I cannot wait to weigh that alone.. The colours and smell are so perfect too. I think this plant has shown just how capable the genetics are to create a huge plant with very little interference and a normal feeding regime that was simple too. astounding girl. She is a trichrome producing lady too and has some very nice frosting. The pics don't do them justice compared to standing in front of these beautiful plants . Well done Exotic seeds. I will update as the drying process goes and do a full harvest and report once we are there. be safe and well growmies. Grab yourselves some of these seeds from over at exotic and you won't be dissaointed no matter your growing experience...

Happy Harvest Day!

This strain is a great tasting and easy to grow one from a very understated but great seed breeders. Well done Exotic seeds.. The effects are very noticable while enjoying the aromas and taste that hits both in and out on smoking it. It jas a steady build up that was easily manageable and will no doubt help to lock you to the couch if you keep the joints coming.. On a single joint, I was left mindful and in a fairly upbeat state of mind . By mid afternoon, I was solving the pandemic crisis in my head and wondering why nobody else was doing it !. lol A very nice strain all round for the end user and certainly one your friend's will want to hog and have to be persuaded to pass it on !.. Buds were very densely created early on in the flowering cycle and it did not stop until harvest. The harvest numbers were very good too. 2 of the plants flowered earlier than the 56 day stated as the cycle and the #3 plant was ready to harvest totally finished and amber trichromes at day 39 !!!. the other one (#4) was harvested at day 49 along with the other 2 that took the full 56 days to finish. The numbers for each plant #1 116.97g #2 146.59g #3 56.94g #4 63.90g A great run of 13.7oz from 4 easy to grow autos that are top drawer quality and a testament to the breeders

As mentioned above 384.4 g from 4 plants is more than a good result. These plants were very happy to train and would have taken even more if I would have done it . They needed very little hands on work at all besides a small defol early in veg and a little in week 3 flowering. Rhe overall height was medium at around 12 -14 inches from pot top so will do well in smaller grow spaces too. I would happily recommend anyone to give these ladies a space in any auto grow you do , you won't be dissapointed.

@Ferenc,Thank you. i am pleasantly surprised with the little fatties at this stage , smell is a nice surprise too. really has a mango smell now. Inthought it would be like many that claim a certain fruit but just smell "fruity" on harvest but they really want to impress I think. Thanks for the support Ferenc

They look like solid choices, do you grow many of their strains?
Ganjagrandaddy
Ganjagrandaddycommented4 years ago
@@Mr_Cannab1sir,Thanks Mr C. This is my 1st run with their genetics but the 100% germination on the mango has me hopeful and confident.lol. seen a few other breeders struggling to match it. lol The other autos are to keep a perpetual winter grow going just to keep the lights/heat on longer and I am hoping to get a better understanding of how to best grow autos for my room. I am usually a photperiod grower and have only done 1 auto grow in the past , I also have some of their photo strains to try too. looking forward to finding out how good they are. Thanks for the positive vibes brother. be safe and well.
