-Since I had only 6 feminized seeds left from CropKingSeeds and no idea what strains they are I decided to choose one as a mother plant and harvest clones for a perpetual harvest setup that will be attempted!
-All 6 seeds we're placed in a cup with tap water for about 24 hours then sowed in peat pellets, they we're then placed inside a small propagator with high humidity, dimmed 50w LED light, and a heat mat.
-The seeds we're color and number coded under 3 different color: Red, Green, and Yellow (only had these so had to number them as well😅), that means there's 2 of each color.
after seeds popped in the jiffy they were planted straight to their 3 gallon pots and were under the LEDs on 15% strength
Watering schedule is at about 3-4 days between each watering and no feeding for now.
*pics were taken at the end of week 2
Plants were named in pairs:
plants H #1/2, C #1/2, and M #1/2
a clone was taken off each plant and was labeled in preparation for testing the flowering of each plant.
They all look great and very healthy with some obvious beneficial traits on some.
Vegetation is going great and C #2 is showing some beautiful fast growth as well as both H's but a decision will be made next week of growth.
Clones look happy with slightly fertilized water spray (No cloning hormone solution in hand atm)
Most promising plants have been chosen and the rest moved to the flowering tent for a flowering test on each.
The chosen plants are C #2 and M #2 with fast and uniform growth on each, with best reaction to the conditions given, and they have shown great resilience to some extreme temperature changes (heater stopped working a few times😅).
Clones off each plant are rooted and ready for planting, I will only plant those moved to flowering for now and plant the rest once I get more soil mix.
The plant that were moved to the flowering tents.
They were tied down to about the same height to check their stretch and axillary vegetative growth during "pre-flowering"
*A few large fan leaves that shaded growth shoots were cut off and the rest were tucked under the canopy.
-C #1 showing some growth mutation with whorled and alternate vegetative growth (mostly leaves) but shown small stretch so far.
-M #1 with great and even growth, has great spread of side shoots plus quite thin leaf blades so light can penetrate the canopy quite easily. been stretching nicely with no signs of stopping for now.
-H #1 has a thick canopy with wide and quite large fan leaves, she has been showing some fast stretching compared to the others. Pretty surprising for the dominant "Indica" traits she's been showing.
-H #2 with insane mutation like C #1 but the side shoots barely grow out of the main branches which has insanely thick growth. She's been stretching like crazy and hasn't slowed down one bit.
H #2 is currently my main focus since her mutations might be beneficial for future grows, potentially producing some huge and long colas. In the next few weeks once stretching is done bud formation, coloration, size and growth rate will be key factors while testing these plants.
* C #2 and M #2 had clones cut off each and they will be vegetated for a couple of weeks before flower testing them.
*Flowering plants are being defoliated in a few days and trimmed in 7-10 days.
*****WEEK #7***** VEG
Current mother plants are growing nicely along with the clones from each plant that is currently in the flowering tent.
other clones of each mother are now rooting with a few already ready for planting.
