Starting Purple Lemonade grow 2.0. Excited to correct my mistakes from last grow. Think my soil (fox farm ocean forrest) was a bit hot last grow. This time around I'm using a blend of ocean forrest and happy frog, as well as dolomite lime to help better balance my ph. Wish me luck.
These took almost 10 days to germinate before transplant. Even thought one was a dud, so I started a 4th and it finally popped. So now I got 4, I guess there are worse problems.
Good week, was kind of nervous seeing as how long they took to germinate. Plant #1 is taking off for real, where the other 2 seems to be taking off more slowly, but over all it was a good week of growth. No nutes until after week 3.
Another awesome week of growth, center plant is not messing around. Used some very light nutes this week, seemed to do a fine job. Can't wait to report next week, lets ride this momentum.
What a week! These girls are really taking off. Really responded well to LST. Actually had to tie down multiple branches the day after the initial tie down. Really excited about this grow.
Holy double in size this week Batman! These girls took right off. The one plant almost gaining an entire foot in one week, and the other about 8 inches. The smallest of the 3 is coming along, almost seems a week behind her sisters, but shows no sign of stunt and continues to get taller and wider as well. What an awesome week, we are right on the verge of flowering........cant wait.
What a week! Started flowering, and these things grew like crazy. Very proud of how these gals are growing. Can't wait to see what is in store for next week.
So so week, plants are too close to the light for my liking and I'm out of room to raise it. I guess there's worse problems. Looks like plant 3 has a mag deficiency, tested run off and it was at a perfect 6.5. Started cal-mag on that lady, was told maybe I'm watering to frequently causing magnesium lock out. Going to give them a few days to dry out. Plant 3 was definitely heavier than the rest due to the water in the soil. Laid off the nutes this week particularly plant 3. The LED light makes the condition look much worse than it actually is. Here is to a rebound week for plant 3.
Good week of flowering, seem to have a cal-mag issue with plant #3. We upped the cal-mag in that plant and and decreased the notes to almost 0. The other 2 got normal feedings and cal-mag just in case. Switched tent positions with plant 1 and 2 due to light burn issues.
Up and down week, on a good note plant 3 looks to be recovering from her cal-mag deficiency. New growth looks perfect. Plant 1 got what appears to be a little thirsty, but that's a non issue, bud growth seem to slow on her, watching that now. Plant 2 is looking perfect. Purple is really starting to pop on these girls. Other than the light burn issues because I'm out of room to move the light up, can't complain this week.
Wont be long now. In plant #1 one that purple though wow! I mean there's purple in all of them, but 2 is black purple. Smells of fruity greatness. Buds seem to be coming along, starting to become dense. Good disciplined week for these girls.
First week of flush in the books. Triclombs are shooting and turning from milky to amber and the smell is strong. Think I did a fine job on this being my second indoor grow ever. This strain seems to need more cal-mag the deeper the color purple. Thursday they'll go in the dark for 3 days and then it's harvest time.
Did much better this go around. Really enjoyed the grow, but I know I still have a lot to learn. This strain is fantastic and although id enjoy another 12 round/week battle with this heavy weight, Im also excited to try some new.
