GreenDog Hello growers!!! Today marks three weeks since germination and the little plants are having explosive growth. The biggest one measures 9cm and they're all at the 5th node. I've seen roots appearing through the drainage holes in the pot, so in a week, I'll be transferring them to a bigger pot and starting their shaping.

GreenDog This week, the transplant to an 11-liter pot has been done, and LST has also started. Humidity and temperature parameters are correct. These girls are on the right track.

GreenDog Good morning fellow growers. With 55 days since germination, I have switched the cycle to 12/12. So far, I haven't had any deficiencies or excesses of any kind. Measuring the pH and EC of the drainage water is just as important as the irrigation water, to give the plant what it needs, not what we think is best. Yes, it's true that the substrate serves as a "cushion" for mistakes, but that's exactly what this is about, not making the same mistakes from previous grows. Despite the pruning, defoliation, and broken branches, despite all those levels of stress, they have been recovering positively. The only thing I've noticed they were lacking was humidity, so I've set up the humidifier. And I'll say goodbye by leaving some images that I hope you'll enjoy.

GreenDog Good morning, grower friends!!! Another week at the forefront with these girls. At this point, I'm realizing several things to improve; LST is not just about "arranging the branches." The truth is that many more factors come into play, but if you don't do it, you don't learn. This week has been explosive; the "stretching" has been explosive. Some branches that I didn't tie well have shot up, and it's that the C99 at this stage is where it shows its sativa phenotype.

GreenDog Good morning, grower friends. Another week, and we're with these beautiful "C99". I'm having a lot of fun with this seed; its cultivation is really easy. It's a plant that needs time more than technical requirements, especially if you want its "stretching" not to surprise you, as it stretches quite a bit. We're on day 26 since the cycle change. The flowering has been delayed about a week compared to the previous grow. I have two possible variables: 1.- The Delta 9 is better than the one I'm using now, and 2.- I changed the bulb to 3000k a week later. But well, I'll try to clear up those doubts in a future adventure.

GreenDog Good morning, grower friends!!! Another week keeping up with these beautiful and leafy C99. A seed that is quite entertaining to grow, but you have to be careful with its "stretching." With the "LST" technique, it has stretched a ton; I can't even imagine what it would be like without applying it o_O Finishing its first month of flowering, they are already starting to gain volume. During these weeks is when you have to be most careful with fertilizing. One mistake I made at the beginning was "overfeeding" instead of nourishing it. So I give just the right amount.

GreenDog Good afternoon, grower friends!!! At 41 days since the change of photoperiod, my girls look like this. I estimate that I have a "broth with quite a bit of cream" ahead of me, and then I'll put them on a diet. The fattening is becoming more noticeable, and the discoloration of the leaves indicates they are eating their mash without complaint. My goal, as always, is to cut them as cleanly as possible, without doing a very drastic root wash. The fattening is noticeable. I'm not posting a photo of the trichomes because I can't take a picture of them, but I estimate that those soldiers are about 15-20 days of training away from entering combat.

GreenDog A week away from harvest, the little ones are giving it their all. The fattening has been progressive and appropriate. There are two types of buds noticeable, some are chubbier and others are more elongated. Although their genetics are predominantly sativa, three of the plants seem indica. This is a seed that I will grow again; I think it can yield much more. The buds from the more sativa phenotypes have turned a bit purple. I don't have the magnifying glass yet, but the trichomes still need more time for my liking before harvest. And as I mentioned at the beginning, a few days before harvest, they look like this. I don't like weighing it right after cutting; for me, it gets weighed once dry and after a week of curing. That means that after a month, a month and a week after the cut, that's when I'll really know how much I've harvested. But I also don't like weighing it; I challenge myself to fill two more jars than the previous grow, and I think I'll fill a few more hehehe. There will also be plenty of material to make oils and alcohols, and of course, some "magic sand." The hardest part after the cut is the wait for drying and curing. A wait that is necessary after all the work that has been done. For me, the growing cycle starts when germinating and ends when curing.

GreenDog Well, they're drying now. I've cleaned the cabinet, the walls, the extractors, and trays to then hang them upside down inside the cabinet. In a couple of weeks, I'll move them to the drying rack. Then to the jars and then to enjoy it. And with this, we wrap up the harvest for the summer. In a few months, I'll start a new adventure.
