Did the first topping this week, went great plant is starting to really take off during week 3. Have been using very little of the age old because the roots 707 is packed with nutes and the plant loves it.
This plant is loving the combination of things in the soil, along with the age old and calmag it is doing great.Having no issues so far with this black cherry punch and having a good time watching her grow.
This week was definitely a bit more work then the previous, had to defoilate a little bit to let some light reach through and rose the nutrients just a bit to increase the nitrogen in the soil. I also started adding terpinator wich will help boost the terp levels befor going into flower, wich will not be until week 8. I also decided to top it once again creating 4 main colas instead of 2 in wich I will repeat this process until I have 12
This week was definitely an exciting week,she grew like CRAZY really starting to spread out and smells amazing when I trim. I have been increasing the amount of water I feed to 3 gallons because she's getting big.every so often I will feed a little bit of hydrogaurd to help break down non beneficial bacteria and increasing the beneficial bacteria wich will also help the plant grow and it also helps prevent root rot for when I start feeding molasses.i topped it again, creating 8 main colas and I also topped the 2 thick side branches wich helped widen the plant and increase the overall yield. So far I'm having no issues with the plant I decided to increase the light distance from 18 inches to 22 to 24 inches this will help them stretch the final 2 weeks before I throw her into flower.
This week, aside from getting hit by a car was great😂😂 .it's been 7 long weeks approaching week 8 then I will flip to flower, the feeding has gone well with a nice thick stalk and over 20 to 30 tops fresh leaves and when cut it puts off this awesome set of aromas, fruity,sweet,a little citry and has a smooth mouth watering smell. I really want to top it more but I feel like what I have might be enough,anyway the black cherry punch is filling out and is a lot larger from what I have seen and expected.cant wait till flower hoping to get some huge dence sticky nugs.if anyone is reading this I am widely open to constructive criticism if you see something that will improve the overall quality/yield go ahead and comment it in the question area,thank you.
Last week of veg pushing to flower havnt had any issues, so far so good cutting back the nitrogen using only additives this week so I can switch to my flower nutrients (sensibloom a and b) then will be gradually increasing the molasses intake to increase terp profile and bring out the trichomes.
1st week of flower was great already showing pistils within the first week of flip,feeding smalls amounts of molasses will increase gradually till I start feeding rock resonator wich makes the flowers take off.
Week 2 of flower was interesting,hues of purple coming in trichomes coming in nice and it's smelling dank definitely going to pull a decent amount off this one.
Week 3 of flower, more purple more trichomes and started feeding rock resonator for a week and it has definitely improved the smell and is sticky to the touch I think the overall height growth is maximized its now time to beef up the buds with some big bud looking to get some overdrive soon.
