Erik99 The little ones are gaining energy and growing more every day. Once they have their first true set of leaves, I'll start to gradually bring the light closer. In this growth phase, it's very important to maintain a good level of relative humidity, but at the same time, not to overwater the substrate too much, since I like the roots to have to work a bit to spread out. That way, I ensure a good root ball that can easily absorb nutrients.

Erik99 I'm starting to bring the light closer, I've moved it about 20cm closer than last week. The plants are doing great and have already started on the growth diet; in this grow, I'll be using the full range of Biobizz for both growth and flowering.

Erik99 This week there have been important changes, I've moved them to 7-liter pots, I've done apical pruning and defoliation to stimulate the lateral branches. The volume of daily watering has been increased, always in proportion to what they absorb so that the substrate is partially dry the next day.

Erik99 You can already see that the side branches are starting to stretch thanks to the apical pruning and definition. I keep the lamp about 40cm away so that it covers the entire surface well. In a few days, I will lower the SCROG net to open up the taller branches and try to cover the whole surface.

Erik99 Last week of growth, as you can see, the entire surface is almost covered. The scrog is doing its job well; it's important to gently bend the young branches that stick out in search of light since we want it to be as uniform as possible so that light reaches everything equally. Next week we will see the start of flowering and we will add another LED to maximize the lumens.

Erik99 First week of flowering, the light schedule has been reduced to 12/12 and the first flowering watering has been given. Another LED has been added and they have been lowered to 30cm from the tips; I could bring them closer since the temperature allows it, but I prefer to move them closer as the flower grows since the stretch of pre-flowering is coming now.

Erik99 You can already see the start of pre-flowering, the dose of fertilizer and bloom stimulator has been increased very slightly, and you can start to see the stretch of pre-flowering.

Erik99 Very happy in this third week of flowering, the last cleaning of the lower parts was done and a bit of defoliation. You can already perfectly see the pre-flowers and their different colors, since being from seeds, even though they are all the same strain, each plant shows its dominant phenotypes.

Erik99 This week they are already more advanced in pre-flowering, the purple colors of some plants have intensified with the phenotype, and you can also see that pollen is starting to spread across all the new calyxes and the edges of the leaves.

Erik99 This week you can see that we're already moving out of pre-flower and diving straight into the bud fattening weeks. I've increased the nutrients a bit more, and the mass of the flowers has definitely increased. When I open the cabinet, the smell hits a bit more; I'm really looking forward to trying these Tropicana Poison 😋

Erik99 This week, just like the last one, you can see that the flowers are continuing to grow in size quickly. I've only slightly increased the proportion of Acti-Vera in the nutrients, and the smell has increased quite a bit.

The flowers at the top are already quite dense as they are causing the branches to bend sideways. You can see a great variety of different colors, as even though they are all Tropicana Poison, each one has its phenotype that makes them unique.

Erik99 This last week I lowered the temperature in the cabinet by 2°C and activated the reddish light to better recreate the arrival of autumn so that the plants give it their all. On the first day of this week, I did a root wash with about 10L per plant. I like to do it little by little with all the plants equally, taking advantage of the good drainage of the pots. First, I add 2L and let all the pots drain well, and I repeat the process about 5 times until the leftover water comes out clear. It's important that the water is above pH 6 so that the leftover minerals dissolve well and the plant can absorb whatever little remains in the substrate.

Erik99 I had planned to cut this week, but in the end, I decided to leave them for another week to fully mature and finish absorbing the moisture from the soil. These Tropicana Poison F1 look really good and smell amazing, can't wait for tasting day to arrive! 😵‍💫😋

Erik99 After leaving the plants for 1 week longer than planned, they were perfect for cutting. Once cut, I manicured them all well; I like to manicure them right after cutting because the leaves are firm, making it simpler, and I like the final result more. Then I had them drying for 2 weeks at 50% humidity. During the curing process, I put them in airtight glass jars with curing bags (Bóveda) that keep the perfect humidity without needing to open the jars. After 5 months of curing, I couldn't wait any longer and started with this strain. The smell changed completely, and it has a complex flavor of wood with sweet and tasty notes; the smoke is very dense and white. The buds are like rocks, and with a small amount, it stretches a lot. As for the effect, at first, it's energizing and makes you want to talk, but after a little while, it turns into a strong body effect that leaves you on the couch doing nothing but sleeping 😵.
