Nothing to say. Just trucking along like normal. Some odd shaped leaves but nothing to worry about.
I'm watering every 2 days in a circle around the perimeter of the leaves. Super careful not to overwater this time. Hope I don't underwater...
Preflower started day 19!! WTF? This girl is still only 5 inches tall but is starting to stretch a little now. No other issues showing. She looks healthy, just small. Great, another runt. Must be my watering technique.
I'm feeling more hopefull after LST and seeing the bud sites start to stretch up a little bit. Maybe I'll get 15g dried off this if luck turns and she shoots up. That's all I need off her.
-----
Did a top feed of 3tbsp each of AP and Bloom with 1/4 cup worm castings and 1/2 tsp of kelp meal. Watered it all in.
Early week 5. Trucking along.
She is still a moody girl. Some days perky, some days droopy. All randomly back to back in the same wet dry cycle. No idea why. If I was overwatering I would expect to have seen real deficiency issues by week 5.
Removing a few leaves to reveal bud sites seems to have really worked. I only tucked previous grows but won't hesitate to lightly defol autos in future.
---------------
Deficiency growing slowly to other lower leaves. I think it is mag so added a 1/4tsp of Epsom in the last water and will do again next time to see if that works.
Since I got my soil moisture meter things have been looking better and better. She really doesnt need much water being such a runt.
Still seeing progress on the discoloration. Slow. Not worried about it. But trying to solve it to learn for future. Doing Epsom foliar each day and watered with Epsom and then calmag.
Girl is frosting up. This is the most tricomes I've had on sugar leaves.
Getting fatter and frostier, but slowly. Now I just need to wait. She started flowering quickly but is now taking her time.
Added some kelp meal and molasses at first feeding this week along with calmag to fight the yellowing that is very slowly creeping up the plant. I can't seem to stop it but it isn't going to be a problem. Senescence will take over before this is a major factor anyway.
I was pretty disappointed when she flowered at 19 days and was so small. However, my lst seems to be getting the most out of her and she is getting fat.
Trics are getting some amber but around 25% are still clear so I'll keep watching and hope to balance out without too much thc degradation. Maybe only a week left now.
After it started flowering so quickly and stayed so short I'm shocked I got over an ounce of this plant dry.
7 day hang in the tent to dry. Started with 50%rh at 19C and then upped this to 58% for the last couple days.
This stuff is soo sticky. Resin makes it feel wet still. Burping the jars is a loud affair.
Great Terps, strong scents of citrus with a bit of mint. Tastes about the same on first pull of the vape - orange/fruitloops then loses citrus and tastes more sweet and creamy as session progresses.
This stuff is fantastic. My best grow so far!
Wow, she's a quick one! I see some people grow these huge autos that look like photoperiods. I haven't a clue how, must be genetics? My limited experience with autos is of the fast to flower variety😕, barely enough time to start LST. Looks like you have her trained out well, hopefully she's a stretcher/stacker😜. Goodluck, I'll be checking in to see how she does.
@Cantwaitcantwait, Photos are more forgiving. With Autos you have to be on point for all stages of growth. The plant cycles through veg to flowering so quickly with autos...leaving little room for error.
@DeaneR, thank you for this!
Makes me feel less inept to hear this from someone who grows beautiful plants and knows what they are doing!
I'm switching to photos after this run. Solving for light leaks has to be easier than convincing an auto to hold off on flowering.
