First time. I've spent several years working at a flower nursery and researched a bunch the past few years to do this before I could afford it so hopefully I get some decent medicine!

So far everything is going better than I had hoped! The second lady is already looking like its starting to lose its cotyledon leaves and I'm now just waiting to see them starting drinking some water. Feb 10 - Raised the light up ~4" thinking that im seeing some light burn on #2 kinda looks like a cal-mag deficiency but I buffered my coco in a strong solution of cal-mag before planting so I'm not sure.. Feb 12 - Pretty sure my issue with #2 is entirely because I overlooked checking the ph on my buffering solution. My tap water has a ph of about 8 which feels like a pretty obvious issue. Also #1 stretched a lil so I'm gonna put the light back down on them after I give them some water with a proper ph.

Did my first feeding on Feb 12th and it looks like thats started to fix my ph issue with #2 hopefully it can pull through and catch up with #1 Feb 15 - RIP my power strip lol im assuming it got very cold here and my space heater killed it yesterday, shutting everything off for no longer than 8 hours (no way of really knowing). temporarily plugged my controller into an extension cable so my lights, heater and humidifier should be on. turned down the heater so its still enough to keep the room warm but not use so much power and im gonna find a replacement strip today so i dont burn out my outlet. Feb 16 - Found out my roommate inherited a infrared laser temperature taking device which they have no use for so, I'm using it to check leaf surface temperatures! Wildly, putting my room at 80⁰F will leave the plants leaf surface at 64⁰F!! putting my room up to 90⁰F has gotten my plants to a nice cozy 82⁰F now though.

Feb 20 - Transplanted into 5gals! I'm honestly not expecting #2 to be very happy about it but I felt like #1 was outgrowing the solo cup and wanted to do both my transplants at the same time for the sake of convenience. Feb 22 - Super happy with how #1 is taking off, I put my nose up to it and it already smell a little dank. Should probably top it soon since its working on its 5th node at the moment but, I'm worried about stressing it right after transplanting when it probably needs some help working on those new roots. #2 is definitely mad at me though and showing some stress, probably shouldve waited a bit longer before transplanting her into the 5gal. Feb 24 - Looks like #2 has recovered from the transplant stress and is doing well but #1 has a little bit of nitrogen toxicity after I mixed up a new gallon of nutrients. Hoping after another week of keeping them carefully fed they will both be happier.

Feb 27 - Lowered the light down to about 22" away and they seem pretty happy about it! Might go a few more as the recommended hanging height is 18" but I'm not sure how they will react at such a young age. #2 got topped today since its finally caught up with #1 it almost looks bigger in width honestly but it may be because the leaves overall are wider and more indica looking. I also want to mention the smells that are coming off these plants are super subtle already and I might need to turn that carbon filter on soon. When I topped #1 the growth and my fingers all smelled exactly like christmas trees and super piney. Ever since, I keep getting subtle wiffs of the plant when I'm away from the tent and just in my house. #2 however wasn't nearly as stinky and mostly smells like pepper plants when they're vegging.

Mar 6 - Gave #1 it's second topping! cant wait to see how these tops start to branch out in the next couple weeks. I think I'm having issues with my ph pen. its fluctuating really wildly and I think it could be telling me the ph is higher than it really is. I've added some ph down and hopefully even if is wrong that will put me in a better place for coco coir. Mar 8 - Honestly giving up on getting a good reading out of my ph pen at the moment because it just wants to sit around 6.5 no matter what I right now. Also gave both of them a bit of a trim around the bottom where some leaves were just not getting enough light and drooping so much they touch the soil. Mar 10 - These ladies are getting STINKY. Opened up my tent just to get smacked in the face with it today. I had thought it was smelly before because I just took a bong rip but that unzip was way more intense! I suppose it is time I turn on the carbon filter, I'm sure they could probably use the air circulation from it. Mar 12 - #1 is drinking twice as much since I've turned on the fan but seems to be growing even faster. I gave them both another trim around the bottom since a lot of leaves just weren't getting enough light down there definitely makes it easier to reach down and twist those stems a little bit.

Mar 13 - Keep giving the ladies a trim around the bottom as they seem ready for it. Unfortunately this has led to me realizing I have an allergic reaction on my skin to the plants. The weirdest part is that I only seem to be reacting from #1 touching me. I've also been rolling the main stems between my fingers and trying out super cropping a little bit. Best part is when I do my fingers smell AMAZING both plants have an extremely intense kushy smell that is just ecstasy to breath in. Should have some rose pruning gloves with long cuffs coming today so I can keep up with this training and not have itchy dry arms. Mar 14 - Had my hot water heater leak and flood the entire area most of my grow electronics were plugged in while I was in the shower. Luckily my bf and his ex caught it and started cleaning before I even got down there. So far, all my grow equipment seems to be okay and none of the water got into my tent just made the basement extremely humid. But just for safety until the heater is fixed I'm bringing up my ladies and putting them with my houseplants and a humidifier in the kitchen. Hoping if I just leave the lights on in there all night they won't be too stressed. Mar 16 - Big RIP to my controller which was destroyed by the flood, not gonna be able to flower until I have new one. Luckily that was only $70 since it is marketed for reptile tanks rather than grow rooms. We have found the source of the water is our washing machine leaking so I guess we'll be visiting friends or a laundromat until thats fixed but, the ladies are back in their tent and still looking just as happy as when they left! I'm just going to have to be more careful using my heater and humidifier until I have a new controller.

Mar 21 - Noticed what could be the start of some powdery mildew the day before and decided it was time I learn to spray down the plants with neem oil. Also trimmed up the leaves on the bottom of the plant to try and keep them from forming any super humid spots that could be dangerous Mar 27 - Due to my now ex bf becoming schizophrenic and making my home feel unsafe I have had to leave my plants behind and stay with my gf who is unfortunately a half hour away. The plants have kinda really suffered from having no care or water for the past four days and I'm hoping they will be able to recover. I'm going to have to teach a friend how to mix nutes but I at least have 3 gallons prepped for the next few days until then. At this point I pretty much just need them to survive until the first week of April when I get a house with my girlfriends and can move them to where I can personally baby them

Mar 30 - been pre mixing nutrients and having other people water my plants for now luckily it looks #1 is recovering and #2 has survived far better than expected! Hoping I can keep these ladies living enough until they get moved in to the new house in a few more days.

Apr 12 - Rescued my plants! My schizophrenic ex bf has been texting me more and more crazy shit in regards to them since I've moved out and dumped him so I decided I needed to bring them to my new house asap and here we are with a lil closet grow now. I'm really hoping to be able to get these ladies to recover since they've been getting inconsistent waterings with little care where they would get water for three days and then have a few days without any and then would sit in the runoff or the runoff would be flooding my tent. I ended up turning up the heat in the tent while I was gone to prevent this from happening more. But they at least look far better than they did a week and a half or so ago. Apr 13 - Trimmed off a bunch of the leaves from both the plants that just weren't getting enough light or had reached a point they weren't going to recover from the drought of not getting proper water or nutrients. Currently only watering with ph'd tap water that has about ~200ppm in hopes to flush any lockout problems out but #1 seems to be recovering super quickly its actually really amazing to see when the entire plant was almost dead a week or so ago.

Apr 19 - It looks like #1 is fully recovered from everything and #2 is going to be catching up in a few days so I feel pretty confident flushing them out the past few days was the right option but they're starting to look like they could use some light feeding. Apr 22 - Wow these plants are back!! I rebuilt my tent in my new basement so hopefully I can move them back in there after a good cleaning because they are already getting wayyy too big for this closet.

Apr 25 - Yeaaa these are definitely too big to stay in this closet in veg for two more weeks. Goin on a mission for some hydrogen peroxide to clean my tent so I can get these ladies back in there and tied down. Apr 27 - Got my babies back in the tent! So amazing to see them back in their real home and put in perspective how much they've grown since they left it. Only a few more squares to fill until I'm happy with flipping to flower! Apr 28 - Tried out some some pretty heavy defoliation on the girls last night because I was finding a lot of spots where leaves would be touching each other and would block the leaf below from transpiring. Hoping now the lower growth should get some proper light and catch up to fill the canopy out. Apr 30 - Just wow I'm so excited to put these in flower they're so close! Sadly I'm going to be on a trip with my gf from may 3rd to the 12th and will be having someone else take care of them so I would prefer they stay in veg for that. May 1 - Did a lil reading and decided to scooch my first scrog down about 10" because these are such bushy indicas and put up the second net in prep for when I return and am ready to flower these lovely ladies!

May 2 - Getting anxious to say goodbye to these ladies again for a few days, at least I know they will be in the care of sane people this time. I gave my gf a whole lesson on how to care for them so at least that makes me feel a lot more confident in them staying safe. Mar 6 - Phew! Feeling confident I've left my plants in good hands with my gf after training her a lil my plants are still growing beautifully!

May 16 - Gave the plants a pretty intense defoliation but they have responded to it very well before so I'm expecting them to do just fine. Also gave them a neem spray just to make sure no pests are living here while I can still spray them. Heres to hoping my first flowers grow beautifully! May 22 - Looks like #2 enjoyed the defoliation even more than #1 did! They're both looking great other than a lil nute burn but #2 is finally kinda catching up in height. Have been doing some supercropping as well and a lot of the branches on #1 have gone from pencil or drumstick thickness to the thickness of really big fingers and the smaller stems are amazingly really strong so, I'm hoping I won't be having the issue of too heavy buds that other people have been experiencing with this strain.

It already looks like #1 is forming some really proper bud sites in the back and middle and its so amazing to see the process of buds forming for the first time! Jun 5 - Not sure how normal this is but #1 already has visible trichomes on the leaves closest to the buds

Jun 6 - Yet another week of defoliation! Didn't take as long but my back hurts almost as much. The colas from #1 that have grown into the middle of the tent are absolutely DENSE and I had to very carefully get my scissors in there to trim off the leaves that weren't getting enough airflow. Jun 9 - STINKY. #1 has started to smell like cheese which is absolutely truly confusing my brain with how much rubbing the stems smells like pine needles. #2 has a much more fruity and sweet smell developing but not quite smacking me in the face like #1's flowers have been. Jun 10 - nvm they both STINKY :DD

Jun 13 - Gave them another light defoliation and I absolutely loving the smell of these ladies. I pinched a couple off #2 and ended up having sticky enough fingers after I took my gloves off from trimming #1 I had leather fuzz all over my finger tips. Jun 14 - It's pretty hard to tell but I think I'm seeing slight signs of purple on #1's flowers when I take pics of them with the macro lense so I'm really hoping to see that develop over the next few weeks! Jun 15 - Purple??? :DD Jun 16 - PURPLE!!!
