This is our first week and first time ever growing. We are growing in a 3x3x6 tent with kingsled LED 600 watt. We finally found someone to get clones and if you are in the boston area, I definitely recommend boston clones as they house so many breeders. To start out, we placed the clones in red solo cups that are about 16 oz. Our medium is miracle gro, which I hope we don't start to regret. We used a syringe to moisten the soil and the plants keep gulping it down, so we will continue to keep an eye on it. Lastly, we poked holes in the bottom of the cup in order to help drainage. We ultimately only ended up watering them once more on day 3 and that was all the whole week.
By the start of this week we are maintaining humidity and temp and spraying leaves a couple times daily. We have yet to water again since day 3. We trimmed the too leaves twice so far. Plants have grown nicely. New leaves look healthy. Potting by the end of this week. Ask questions and like we are learning from you too🙂
This week was repotting week. We got the nutrients we needed and foxfarm soil with perlite. The plants took really well to the new pots and continued to grow immediately. PG is growing ALOT faster than the TP. We watered all the plants a gallon when we first repotted and continued to spray the rest of the week. The bigger pots make for more humidity and heat in the tent. We turned the vent on more often this week.
We came into this week watering a little later than we wanted. Day 27 and 28 we were away from the grow. With the pots we used the dirt around the edges dried faster than the dirt closer to the center. We still sprayed the leaves daily which kept them looking mighty hydrated. This is great news especially coming after the time away. Hopefully we can start LST before the next week. Especially for the bigger PG plants.
