Haven't actually finished the grow room, but I got impatient and started germination anyway, so everything is a bit of a mess, just hopefully not for long!
Bit of a slow growth week IMO, but we'll see how it goes.
Still not been able to finish the cab. Bit of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt!
As they're young its not too much of an issue as temps etc seem to be ok.

Starting to get going now which is good. Theyve both developed a symmetrical lean to outside of the main light spread, which is weird, but this has made the decision as to which way I will LST them in the next week.
Not sure if I will LST this time, might see what happens if I let them go natural...Either way been a good growing week, by the light smell thats coming from them already I suspect it'll be flowing next week. Fingers crossed I can finish the Cab as the wife will definitely start giving me earache 😅
For some reason one of them is looking a bit sad, not sure if I'm over watering as she's looking a bit 'saggy'. Although think it might just be the differences between the two. one is more lanky than the other.
Have decide to just keep them growing natural to see how it goes.

Coming along nicely now. I love this grow as I can actually see them properly thanks to full spectrum. Burple lights, whilst look cool, make the plants and photos look shite.
Really liking the natural growing and light defoliation, starting to grow like proper little trees!
I think next grow I need to make sure the soil is to the brim of the pots as I've lost like 5cm of growing space in each.
One of them is getting a bit close to the light, but theres nothing I can really do about it....think it would be difficult to train her down at such a late stage. Am going to just hope she stops going up and starts focusing on getting phat!! But I think theyre both looking really good. Im happy...for now.
Have kept to half-dose nutrients as I'll be damned if Im going to let an overdose ruin everything so far!
Noticed some purple patches forming. Im sure this happens every grow and I end up with a range of answers, but as I'm using some utes this time, I wondered if its more likely to be one answer over another this time.
Think its phosphorous deficiency?
Hey there Scrumpy, happens every flowering right? like when the plants are making buds? that's because (and there's only one reason) they use more PK during this time , you're seeing K deficiency, you can tell by the colorful splotches. you're already adding PK but what happens is that the soil by itself and the PK by itself cannot be absorbed by the plant correctly, it needs to be broken down. This you can do using enzymes, humic acid, or beneficial bacteria like bacilus subtilis . If you check the second picture you can see some dots , this is calcium deficiency, same story as the PK, but just using one of the three things above should break up enough of what's in the soil for the plant. If not just use cal mag. you basically always need three things, one NPK which you have, one additive, one cal mag. hope this helps ! 🚀
I think they've started to slow down, which hopefully means they're going to focus on fattening up!
Waiting for some calmag to arrive which I hope will help settle the nutrient issues.
Not sure if its making it better, or worse, but I just have to hope it is slowing down any leaf death...
Leaves are continuing to look a bit poorly, with colours and patches I've not seen before, co san only assume its down to the nutrients I'm using.
Im of the mindset to just continue with them and see what happens, although if I stop at least it'll be a natural death rather than over prescribed!
I think one of them has stopped getting worse which is good, the other is on a 1-way trip to hell from the looks of it.
I think the nutrients have helped slow the damage down. One of them doesn't look great still, but I do think its helped slow down the death, so happy days!
The other plant is looking pretty healthy, leaves are nice and green mostly and the buds are fattening up without looking sickly.
All good in the hood.
Nutrients have definitely played their part in keeping them alive and well.
Checked in on the trichromes and they're looking nice and cloudy, so will follow the feeding schedule and see when I've got some amber ones.
Getting excited that the end is in sight!
Following the nutrient schedule, I should be flushing this week and harvesting next. Im not so sure, mainly because the purple colour isn't there (but may never arrive) and the trich's aren't where they need to be just yet.
Will give them a final feed today (73) then will leave them with water for the remainder until I think they're ready by that time everything will be flushed im sure.
Ive switched to just water on Day 76. Still think there's a couple of weeks to go but im looking forward to the results as my stash is starting to look worrying!

Had a close look and Ive got a lot of amber on the second plant, so think she's ready to go, the other not so much, but Im going to look at harvesting at the end of this week.
super excited as the buds are pretty dense, the stink is unreal and I get sticky fingers just by looking at them 😂
Day 83 and i think I'm going to chop today, trich's are looking great, leaves have started to yellow more since the flush, and Ive let them both dry out a fair bit in preparation.
Slightly different results from the who different plants, one with a particularly different smell when giving her the chop.
Overall, but buds are sticky as shit and the smell is awesome, so I can only expect the taste will be similarly good!
Will update when dried and cured.
update 4/5/21: Both jars curing well, the stench when burping is intense! Need to get a filter just for a curing/drying box I think
Update 24/5: Had a vape of a little bud and although its still wetter than I expected, its definitely doing its job!! Nice taste, nothing too special I'll have to admit, but it has a great old school weed smell to it, reminds me of picking up as a teenager and taking a sniff of the bag as soon as I could...good times. 10/10 for memories
