Had great success with Dinafem in the past and looking forward to trying this strain.
A little more THC and a little more CBD than previous strains which were both autos. Will do a full mainline job on this girl.
Sprouted quickly and now in substrate by 3rd Feb.
She's popped and on her way. Hope you enjoy the arty shots ;)
Not in the tent yet. Jut keeping her under spare blurple lamp until I can justify lighting/heating the whole tent.
Currently on half dose of recommended nutes to avoid burn.
She's growing nicely. Still under blurple for now but she has roots coming out the bottom of the pot so will pot her up and put her in the tent this weekend.
Weekend update: transplanted and in the tent.
She's growing nicely.
Under the TSw2000 at about 1/3rd power.
On full nutes now with a little calmag as well just in case.
So far so good. Seems a little dainty compared to the Moby Dick growing next to her.
Well she's been growing really nicely.
TSW2000 is running at 50% now so approx 15W draw.
She was showing her 6th node so I topped her at the 3rd and trimmed the remaining foliage.
Check in on her a few hours later and seemed to be responding well so far. Will go for 8 main kolas so a few more tops to go.
She's still smaller than the Moby Dick cbd which i popped a week after this one but they're both doing well.
Had her second topping this week and is growing nicely. Manifold is coming along nicely.
No signs of stress from the cutting.
She's getting thirstier now and still a little behind the Moby Dick but holding her own.
Week 7.
Mainline training and big defoliation. all going well.
Still very little smell. Haven't even turned the filter on yet.
Quite a bit smaller than the moby dick but very healthy.
She's looking good. Will flip her this weekend to 12/12
Have upped the nutes to pre flower doseage. Fingers crossed for no herming etc.
Have raised her up a bit to bring the canopy to the same high as the the Moby Dick
Gave her a good bit of defoliation and then flipped to 12/12 and turned the lights up to full power.
She's starting to stretch nicely and really putting out some leaves. I am trimming the odd leaf here and there to stop bud sites being covered - hopefully his wont stress her.
Finally had to turn on the carbon filter fan as the smell was starting to get a bit earthy.
Just got to sit back and let her do her thing now.
Bud site are showing and she's defintley having a bit of a stretch.
Having to defoliate her very gently as she's putting out plenty of leaf growth and things are getting a bit to tightly packed. Should've lollipopped her maybe.
Have got negative pressure on the tent 24/7 so humidity and temp are in check. She's pretty thirsty and she's looking very happy
Stretching, getting real thirsty and has a nice little even canopy.
Will need a defoliate as shes so damn dense.
Lots of lovely bud sites coming along.
Think she finished growing up. She has started to get some lovely trichomes on the young buds and leaves - check out the pic from 2nd May. She gonna be frosty.
A little defoliation as we go along to discourage mould, but room is at 40% humidity so we should be golden.
Nudging the lights up a bit higher to cover more all the bud sites but not much else has changed.
Starting to see some brown pistils and some lovely frosting on the leaves.
Smells like sandalwood when I've been defoliating and get it on my hands.
She's looking super healthy - just need her to start fattening up now.
Getting some amber trichomes now. She's not as fat as I'd like. Guess she could really to be left to stretch out more in veg phase. Good to know if I ever get thr chance to grow this strain again
She's not quite as thirsty as she was and like I say thre's a couple of amber trichs. Pistils are mostly amber.
Will give her another week or so. Don't mind a bit of couchlock so hey, why not? :)
@CBDTarmac,Thanks for the answer. I also have to acidify the water. Maybe I'll try your way. I also read that lactic acid suppresses the activity of unhealthy microorganisms.
@Mnogumba, Hi thanks for the comment. I use the lactic acid to reduce pH and alkalinity of the water here which is very hard. It works very well and is a lot cheaper than Ph Up/Down solutions. I always have some around as I homebrew a lot of beer too.
