These plants are monsters compared to my last run. I’ve only fed them twice but I am doing lots of foliar and getting the soil moving with microbes and enzymes. Gonna wait a few more days before I start manifolding.

Welcome back to another update my fellow growers. Hope u’re all staying safe and ur gardens are doing great. I started off the week with nebula’s manifold method and so far so good. But I’m a dumbass, I had my lights too close so some leaves got burnt. Overall plants are doing great. Wish my luck. Happy gardening 🌱

Thanks for dropping by and welcome to another exciting update :P Finished manifolding and continuing LST. Transplanted into final 7 gallon pots on day 35. Mixed my own soil and let it cook for a month, slurry test is 6.4ph and 400ppm. Lots of work but I think the plants are liking it....so far so good, will be flipping soon. Stayed tuned and happy gardening 🌱

Grow Questions

Hi. What are these? Slow crawling, not fast or jumpy, about the size of this period . They swarm by the thousands after I water. Plants are doing great. I hit them with CannControl and Lost Coast, population has reduced a bit. I’m leaning towards soil mites. What do y’all think?

They look like Hypoaspis miles to me. Which are good bug's.Here is a copy/paste from this site. https://greenmethods.com/stratiolaelaps/ Stratiolaelaps scimitus (formerly Hypoaspis miles) is a soil-dwelling mite capable of the prevention, control, and management of sciarid flies, shore flies and various thrips and soil pests. Not only are these mites predators of thrips’ prepupal and pupal stages, they are very effective fungus gnat predators as well. S. scimitus are shipped as adults, immatures and eggs in liter-size shaker canisters filled with a loose vermiculite carrier and a percentage of clean peat, and some bran added for good measure. In this form, S. scimitus are very easy to distribute in the crop. S. scimitus can help prevent thrips from becoming intolerable.

Finishing up week 4 and damn what a week. Noticed thousands of soil mites swarm up to the top of the soil after watering and scared the shit out of me. Small little fuckers, I thought they were little bits of soil floating around at first until I took a closer look. I’m assuming they’re the beneficial kind as there is nothing wrong with the plants...leaves aren’t sick looking or droopy. Fun fact - according to Google there are >40000 types of mites. Whatever, I don’t want any more so I hit them with CannControl and Lost Coast soil drenches in between feeds and fucken hell most of them are gone now. Maybe it’s the population correcting itself or maybe I’m just lucky, either way I’m happy they’re almost all gone. I was considering using a blowtorch and burning the little fuckers but not anymore. IPM for the win! Now back to business as usual...next run I’ll be adding some diatomaceous earth into the soil mix. Thanks for stopping by 🌱I

Feed, feed, tea, rinse lather repeat. These ladies drink a lot. Picked up a bigger air pump to make bigger teas haha. That dank dank weed smell takes over the entire room when the tent is open....smells like really fancy washroom cleaning products used by a really expensive hotel, weird I know but I don’t know how else to describe it. Flowers are ripening up nicely, gonna start 2 week flush soon to get that clean smoke and white ash. Thanks for stopping by. Happy growing.
