Finishing off week 3. Stretch is pretty much done and buds are setting in nicely. Slight smell coming from the flowers. Starting to slowly introduce CytoPlus and Flower Finisher into my weekly teas. 6 weeks to go. Thanks for stopping by. Happy gardening 🌱

Grow Questions

Hi. What are these? Slow crawling, not fast or jumpy, about the size of this period . They swarm by the thousands after I water. Plants are doing great. I hit them with CannControl and Lost Coast, population has reduced a bit. I’m leaning towards soil mites. What do y’all think?

They look like Hypoaspis miles to me. Which are good bug's.Here is a copy/paste from this site. https://greenmethods.com/stratiolaelaps/ Stratiolaelaps scimitus (formerly Hypoaspis miles) is a soil-dwelling mite capable of the prevention, control, and management of sciarid flies, shore flies and various thrips and soil pests. Not only are these mites predators of thrips’ prepupal and pupal stages, they are very effective fungus gnat predators as well. S. scimitus are shipped as adults, immatures and eggs in liter-size shaker canisters filled with a loose vermiculite carrier and a percentage of clean peat, and some bran added for good measure. In this form, S. scimitus are very easy to distribute in the crop. S. scimitus can help prevent thrips from becoming intolerable.

Sorry bro I meant the lights to flower
Sparkles
Sparklescommented4 years ago
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, thanks man. I grew five 8’ monsters in 20 gallon pots on my balcony last summer, it was crazy my balcony was all weed. Building next door installed security lights late August and my plants started re-vegging so screw it I bought a tent and whatever and started indoors. But damn...20 years! U must’ve been growing some 🔥🔥🔥 outdoor and indoor is such a huge difference.

@Sparkles,thanks buddy but yours looks better than mine bro. I've only done a few indoors. Was growing outdoor for over 20 years

@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, thanks man. Still getting things dialed in and learning every day. One day I will be a ‘master’ grower and if I can grow half as good as u I’m happy.

@Sparkles, yea like @organoman said, it's aphids, you can see by the number of their legs... they can live in soil and slowly move up the plant
Sparkles
Sparklescommented4 years ago
@CRiSPrGrow, thank you for replying. These critters are living in the soil....I don’t see any damage on the plants. FYI you have awesome plants

Good job bro🤜🤛nice and frosty. Ethos is 💣 what did you flower with?
Sparkles
Sparklescommented4 years ago
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, thank you sir. My first time with Ethos, was really really happy with the outcome. I used Nectar for the Gods in amended soil and flushed with plain water for a week. Smooth smoke with white ash. Better than the stuff they sell at the dispensaries. Ethos has some 🔥 genetics for sure.
