This girl has sprouted up nicely and is now stretching for the light. We have moved her to a 5 gallon pot where it will remain and grow. This is a photoperiod plant so we are going to try and grow it nice and large. Blue dream is a favourite strain of ours so we can't wait to see how these genetics are from QCS
Blue Dream is looking really nice and we are liking the spacing of the nodes. They are looking tight but not too clumped together. This is one of our favourite strains to smoke so we are super excited to grow it. Since this plant is a photoperiod, were going to take our time with training her and getting her the way we want. We are either going to mainline this or Pink Berry, our other photoperiod plant from Quebec Cannabis Seeds. She is growing big and very quickly which we like to see, and so far seems very healthy. We have noticed that the node spacing is pretty decent so far, and not terribly clumped. This should make a pretty good candidate for another mainline plant.
Blue Dream has been vegging out pretty nicely in her 5 gallon pot. We bent the stem a little to one side to allow one of the nodes to catch up to the one opposite it. We are thinking that Blue Dream will be a pretty good candidate for mainlining. We already have a mainline grow in the process but we would definitely like more. Probably going to wait a few more days (perhaps to the end of this week) to mainline. We want the plant to have at least 5 or 6 nodes before we chop it. Since this is a photoperiod and we are waiting for plants in our flower tent to finish, we have more time to work with this plant.
Feb 25 - The nodes are super close together on this one, its pretty wild actually, theres virtually no room between them. We're going to see if its a good candidate for mainlining. She has been growing steady in her 5 gallon pot and is starting to fill it out nicely. very large fans on her just taking in all that good light. Chopping her will be sad, but for the best.
Update: We ended up not mainlining Blue Dream since we really liked the growth we were seeing and didn't want it to go to waste. We wanted to see what we could do with all the beautiful nodes she was shooting off. seemed like a shame to chop
Blue Dream has grown very nicely over the last little bit. She is very bushy, but we are going to wait a little longer before we defoliate her, we don't want to over stress the plant. Hoping that we can do a lot more training and get this girl spread out nicely. We are going to give her another 5 or 6 weeks at least to veg out before we flip her over to the flower tent.
Blue Dream is not growing as tall as we had thought she would. The node spacing is so tight that it has made the plant super bushy and harder for us to train, but slowly, we are getting there. This one is doing pretty well and we are hoping to yield some decent amounts of weed off this plant. After topping this girl she has recovered well, but the nodes aren't as large as we had hoped. Slow and steady for this one it appears.
