This is my first grow in our homemade greenhouse. The side walls of the greenhouse is existing brick wall which we built a leaning steel frame roof and front on and threw greenhouse plastic (200 microns) over the roof and front. The sunlight is a little scarce (only starting at 11:00 providing natural light until 20:00 9 hours of sunlight) so I fitted a 36w florescent tube fitting above my babies to compensate and "wake them up" earlier. My plants now get 16 hours of light a day (9 hours sunlight and 7 hours florecent light) and 8 hours of darkness. 16:8 I have a coco-coir substrate base which has perlite and bone meal mixed into it (10% perlite) and I have amended the top portion of the soil with DYNOMYCO mycorrhizal inoculants. I also mixed @DYNOMYCO into the planting hole when i plated the clone plugs into the soil. I am using Biobizz grow and fish mix 50/50 until flowering. For now watering 1L for every plant in 500ml doses at a time. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out any greenhouse tips and tricks are welcomed. Bless✊

Hi so an update for week 2. The fish mix and bio - grow are working wonders! I saw speedy growth from the previous week. The leaves grew into hand size leaves and the plants got much taller. I actually transplanted some smaller extra clones that also took off and added some @DYNOMYCO in the mix when up=potting. Attached are some pictures of my first time LSTing. I kept like 4 out of the 10 of which i will try top 2 and keep 2 natural. I have tied the main stems of the clones (which don't have parrarel nodes and i'm unsure how to top them because of that - help pls) down to the sides of my fabric pots. As this was my first time doing so I wasn't sure how much to bend and if I bent them too much or too little and if there is a "correct" direction to bend them in. Let me know. Otherwise things are cooking in the greenhouse. DYNOMYCO is fueling my roots and my rhizosphere is pumping. The growing conditions seem ideal for my plants and they are happy. I just hope my LST didn't do any damage to them. Do i ever undo the ties later on in the grow?

Blessings to all, Week 3 in the greenhouse and not much more to report thus far. The girls are really bushing out now. They are all looking green and healthy. I can only imagine what kind of microbial action is occurring in the root zone with DYNOMYCO in there and fish mix pumping beneficial microbes into the soil. The only issue i had this week was one of the girls seemed a little overwatered (droopy leaves) so i cut down the amount of water I gave to her. It is strange that only one of the plants seemed that way since i water all my plants equally and the other plants were looking 100%. The LST definitely worked and now cola sites have emerged. I reckon next week I will need to do another couple of bends to even them out again as well as some defoliating - they are very BUSHY!! Any tips on best ways to defoliate? I do not need these plants to remain low and I want them to go wide and tall as space is no issue so I want to LST and defoliate accordingly to allow for this. Many blessing ✊

Is there any best parameters for growing in a greenhouse? Humidity? Temps? Also I am trying to grow my plants as bushy and tall as possible. I am using LST methods is there any way to defoliate that will increase the plants height? Thanks and Many blessings

Defoliation will reduce your plants capacity to produce energy which then leads to slower and smaller growth. Your plant will grow its largest and fastest if all leaves are left in place to make the energy your plant needs to grow. Remember - Maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth and health. This is basic plant biology 101. Ensure adequate nutrition, plenty of room for root growth, ample sunlight and enough water, and your plant will grow just as nature intended. Hope this helps,..... Organoman.
