Royal Queen Seeds - Northern Lights Auto

Welcome to another diary, this time running a classic strain from Royal Queen Seeds, Northern Lights Auto. People love the strain, it gets great feedback so lets see how the grow goes. Plants will be growing under a Mars Hydro ts3000 with 450 watt led power. I put them in bigger pots to give the roots room to grow. Soil is a peat,coco,vermiculite mix with light feeding. at the beginning they get only water, I also start this diary in week 2 as I bet you have seen enough seedlings in week 1 :P

Another week for the Northern Lights Auto and she is growing strong! Everything stayed kind of the same from the feeding side, they don't need much that early. Also the soil is pre fertilized so we just going to add more nutrients later.

Another week and the plant is doing great, vegging along nicely and showing the first signs of pre flower so soon we transition into the flower stretch. I do selective defoliation, I remove mainly fan leaves, most people don't recommend that with autoflowers but it helps to shape them a lot, to get the lower branches to catch up with the main cola, to balance out the plant. If the plant sits under a strong enough light and gets everything it needs this works really well.

She is growing an growing, enjoying life under the TS3000. The plant is healthy and the flower transition is going on, I started feeding short flowering nutrients by Green House Feeding.

Another week for the Northern Lights Auto, she is growing very nice and is reaching a really good size, you can tell strong genetics. The plant likes everything and gets the full power of the TS3000 for 20 hours a day. I feed BioEnhancer for soil improvement and to increase nutrient uptake. The flowers are developing nicely now so in a few weeks we should have some nice flowers!

Another week another growth spurt, beautiful development, flowers are quick. from here its just letting the plant shape, few leave removals here and there but thats about it, at this stage you don't do much training as the shape is set. Slowly increasing the feeding but not for long as autoflowers don't need to much and I like to flush for a good while.

They are getting thick, I added a shot of another pheno as well that is a bit ahead, but not to much. Overall all is good, conditions getting dryer aiming for a humidity of around 50%. The rest is similar, time to fatten those flowers up.

There we go, these came out really nice, Northern Lights Auto scored perfect. One of the biggest autos recently, big harvest and the most amazing smell, very piney, Alpha pinene terpenes. They do super well with a bit of LST and in flower they stretched to a very good size. Now only the flushing for a bit and chop them.

The Northern Lights Auto is a great strain that I can recommend to anyone who wants some solid flowers and nice harvest. 5 of these in a 4x4 can make a lot of flower. I made oil from these as always and it was a great medical oil, great effect and also the flowers were a joy to smoke ! Very nice strain overall !
