Plant size really started to accelerate this week. Watering every 2 or 3 days. No runoff. Waiting for soil to dry out between feedings. Added a heavy layer of diatomaceous earth to deal with any future fungus gnat issues. Did not realize how the DE would affect the consistency of the soil after watering. Also you’re not supposed to really get the DE wet so I’m not sure how people use this successfully for an extended period of time. Either way, haven’t seen a bug in a while so all good. If I have issues in the future I’ll probably try neem oil.
