Very exiting first week after buying full setup and everything I could think of that I might need and after smoking for 35 years my new years resolution was to start growing my own so here we are after months of researching equipment and for my "borrowed " budget so I went with seedsman alaskan purple it was put into a shotglass of water on 01/01/2021 and within 12 hours it had sunk and a tap root already showing so placed into a soaked rockwool cube and placed into it only final home "19L bubble pot" to not have transplant issues later on the photo shown is only 48 hours after putting seed into water
Gotta commend you on doing DWC on a first grow.. it’s the way to go tho, you learn more and can control variables better. Good luck on the last few weeks, look awesome!
what is the time between planting it and sprouting with this method? I used glass of water for my germination, interested in understanding this technique. thanks in advance happy growing 💪
@noxethegrower, I put seed in a glass of water within the first 24 hours it had cracked open and the tap root was showing so placed it straight into a wet rockwool cube and started showing in 3 days it was very easy I goto admit 👍
