She’s doing well crusing along the week. Thinking whether I should increase nutes on next mix or stay as it is. Thoughts? Topped her on 4th node.

New growth coming through. Increased nutes as she’s growing bigger. Nothing much yet this week. Topped second time on all tops. Not going to do anything anymore besides lst and let her grow.

New week new shoots, nothing much going on yet shes still making her grounds. Tied down each leaves so the new shoots gets as much direct lighting. There’s a good 8 tops im targeting. Im pretty sure pistils are starting to show.

Starting flower week, she’s coming along nicely with 8 main tops. Pistils are shooting out already with some visible calyxes. Hopefully the stretch will come soon. Day48: pre flower is kicking in. Hope she grows more before stretch. This was an experiment for me topping an auto grow, not once but twice. So far she has taken it well and still going strong, yes it did delay for a week or so but came through healthy.

Growing as she should, preflower is here should be in full bloom by next week. Nothing much to report yet. Gave her weekly flush just to reset the coco. Ph was going up to 6.7 so flushed it to 6.3. Day 54: she’s growing strong and fast in the past week, even though im fighting to lower the ph runoff which is at 6.9ph. Ppm runoff is fine at 750ppm.

Buds forming nicely now and she’s starting to smell a little nice. Im still battling with slightly high ph runoff and ive started to increase water frequency on their feeds. Day 61: seems like she’s getting worse by the day with the ph issue. Shes all rusty now from all sorts of deficiencies from high ph runoff. Ive flushed her good and now feeding light. Hope she makes it through. Tried my best to keep her healthy. The small pot could be the issue as shes very root bound.

The ph issue is under control now but i need to water feed everyday to reset the coco or else ph will rise. Her roots are rootbound causing the ph drift. Other than that she is looking better and growing as she should. Buds are developing nicely and trichomes are starting to appear. The smell is getting stronger by the day and sticky. Hoping for a better week. Day 70: so far so good shes recovered well and started growing well again.

Week 10. This plant has been through alot in the past 2 weeks giving me a headache for sure. I just want her to finish as soon as possible now and start over. I cant even tell if buds have bulked or not i see it all day everyday for the past 2 weeks. Probably another 2 weeks or so to go.

Started with plain phd water yesterday no more feed. She’s basically ready now all trichomes are milky with some ambers, dont see any clear ones anymore. Pistils have all turned brown and curled, some new ones popping up. Cant wait to smoke this one she is so frosty. Beautiful. And the smell is awesome.

Wasn’t a great grow but still managed to pull of decent bud weight. Had ph issues during flower which wouldn’t go away until late so might have affected yeild. I will definitely grow this strain again.

@HonzikkPacman, hi. Thats called LST(low stress training). I pull the stem and leaves down early so they grow with better light exposure. There will be more as they grow to keep bud sites exposed to direct light.
timbarin
timbarincommentedweek 94 years ago
Looks like you got it under control. The lst is amazingly done and I think it's a toxicity not deficiency.
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented4 years ago
@timbarin, it was 2 issues i had, a bit of nute burn and ph drift in medium that caused the “deficiencies” ph was pretty high as she’s eating more going into flower. Now she needs tons of water each feed to keep ph stable 😅

Love your LST. Great spread on the canopy. I am going to try to copy your technique on my next grow. Thanks for sharing all of your picture. They are really helpful. Cheers!

@Mrs_Larimar, ok thanks for pointing that out. I got new lights too wasnt sure if it was too close or not. I checked par readings at canopy around 900-1000par. Ive raised lights now tq

@Chilipadi, as the top of your plant is bleached,, yes,, absolutely she shows that since end of vegetation , go back in your diary you see it and for rteferece some pics https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/light-burn I got anew light 3 weeks ago, and i bunt my babies,,,,, same wattage like my other lights, but superstrong led,,,,, lesson learned
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented4 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar, light burn really? Distance is about 14inch away. Is that ok?

I love toping autos I don't get why people stay away from that.
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented4 years ago
@timbarin, looks great. U just need to keep the plant in top shape all the way without any issues. Only then u will know. Even this is a first for me topping autos and mainlining it. Experimenting
timbarin
timbarincommented4 years ago
@Chilipadi, Completely agree with that point. I still think we need to experiment and see, for example, i have done the same with my Orange Sherbet growdiaries.com/diaries/91010-fastbuds-orange-sherbet-auto-grow-journal-by-timbarin and personally i think it turned better than other Autos i've done Thoughts?
Chilipadi
Chilipadicommented4 years ago
@timbarin, its tricky i say, it either goes well or not. All depends on plants health at that time. It is possible if you’re willing to take the risk 🤙🏼
