1º Crystal Meth Auto (2021)

Gentzo And finally, my first indoor is up and running! Let's hope everything goes smoothly. So far, the conditions seem good. The substrate I've chosen for this occasion is Auto Mix 2.0 Cannabiogen, to which I've mixed Bat Monkey guano from Monkey Soil at a ratio of 5g/liter of substrate. The weight of each pot has been 2.8 kg/dry. While the seedlings were finishing germinating, I did the first watering with plain water (pH 6.2) directly in the bathtub to calculate the wet or saturated weight for each of them, which will help me with the watering tasks, avoiding spilling more water than necessary inside the indoor. Now that the first 48 hours have passed, and according to the lunar calendar I plan to follow, I did the first watering (600 ml/pot) with BAC solutions. The appearance is good with a yellowish green, just as I've read is normal for this strain, and the height of each of them is as follows just 72 hours after starting the vegetative phase: #1- 9cm #2- 9cm #3 -6cm #4- 9cm #5- 8cm

Gentzo And we start the second week of vegetation with some adjustments and a few doubts. I've corrected the height of the lighting to 80 cm to avoid exceeding the lux levels with the help of the lux meter, and to use both 150w lights to achieve around 20000 constant lux. After 12 days since the beginning of the vegetative phase, the plants are the following sizes: #1 - 13cm #2 - 12cm #3 - 10cm #4 - 12cm #5 - 13cm

Gentzo We're starting week 3 of growth, I've had serious doubts about whether to apply LST in the grow, as you can see in the photo I've uploaded, I've started it but for now I've decided to just stake them, since it's a pretty fast variety I didn't want to risk the plant not having time to recover. The appearance of the plants despite handling them today since it was watering day is incredible.

Gentzo I've had to put the diary aside a bit to focus on taking care of the indoor and somehow manage the height difference between the plants.

Gentzo And we have reached the end of this week more than satisfied with the results, I can't get enough of seeing them, especially two of them because of the purple tones they developed right from the start of the flowering. For now, I haven't dared to use the net, but the tutoring to learn how to play with low-stress techniques and see how the plants behave has been really fun.

Gentzo The temperatures have risen a lot up here in the north, and I've had to adjust the height of the light. A few leaves have burned, but nothing to worry about. A couple of days ago, I defoliated them, leaving them with the look you can see in the last photos I just uploaded.

Gentzo And every day I'm more excited about how the buds and resin are looking. Unfortunately, being my first indoor grow, I've had to solve many problems on the fly, especially with air extraction. The most important thing was to replace the carbon filter from the Odorsok brand—don't waste your money— with an activated carbon filter from the Prima Klima brand. Now the air circulates properly inside the cabinet. I started the week by doing the last watering with nutrients and an E.C in soil of 1300, so from now on the plants will only receive ozonated water with 1ml/l of calmag. Gentzo The truth is that I couldn't be more satisfied with my first indoor experience. Out of the five plants, only number #2 has gotten stuck and its yield will be poor, but it was definitely the most affected by the heatwave they suffered due to the problems I already mentioned and happily resolved in the extraction of the grow. Everything else is the same, and the plants only receive purified water with each watering, gradually decreasing the amount of CALMAG. The aroma they give off is impressive, not extremely strong but with an exquisite scent between citrus and dried fruits; it makes my mouth water just thinking about how little is left. Gentzo Finally at the doorstep of reaping the fruits of the work from the last two months, today I did the last watering with untreated purified water and I will wait until the end of the week to harvest and make sure the plants are as dry as possible. For being my first experience, I consider it positive for now, although I already have in mind the improvements in the indoor setup and at the cultivation level that I hope to start in the coming weeks.
