I’ve just planted two Lemon Pie autos from Fast Buds. Only two weeks after planting the last two (Purple Pair).
UPDATE: only one Lemon Pie sprouted. The second seed didn’t even pop. I’ve just planted another Lemon Pie seed to grow in its place.
UPDATE: the third Lemon Pie I planted a a replacement has sprouted. Nice. Got my two plants.
Still small. I’ve been carefully watering and applying a foliar spray. I’ll start the feed this week. At least on the older Lemon Pie. I might also start training. I’m expecting a lot from these two. I’ve also gone back to foliar spraying with Algamix and Activera.
The older Lemon Pie has already been moved to the flowering tent. There is just more room there atm. The little Lemon is still in the veg tent. I’ll start feeding them this week.
Both plants are now in the flowering tent. Just add the first signs of preflowering. Growth is green and healthy. I’m training them with some LST and spreading into the scrog net. I’m still foliar feeding and will switch to flowering nutes this week.
I’m really tieing the Lemon Pies down on the net. They train well. Also a bit of defoliating and plenty of foliar spraying. Both are covered in tiny cotton buds. They look healthy apart from a bit of leaf burn where I pushed the nutes too far. It only takes one hard feed to do it. I’m flushing with plain water for a few feeds. I need to get this right, but the Gorilla Cookies in the tent were ravenous. Each strain is different. Some need light feeding, some heavy, some early while they’re seedlings. Some late. Still, I think this is going to be a good grow.
The worst thing happened. I’ve poisoned both plants. They went from healthy and green to brown dry and dead in about 4 days. I tried to flush them but was too late. I think I’m paying for recycling soil without properly flushing it... I was getting bigger and higher PPM readings as I flushed. The last one was over 2000ppm. I cut them down and threw them away. Shit. Game over. Lesson learnt.
@Fast_Buds, this one was important. Even though I totally screwed up it will be very good experience. I’m buying some Lemon Pie seeds again so i get to try them. I loved the Strawberry Pie!
