Slapping together my grow box over a weekend. Going to set it up with a dutch bucket system. Built out of 2x4 and 1/2" birch ply. Day 2 build complete, still need to install ducting, light trap with air filter, door. Left bas half open to easily access the res and nutes stored in the bottom portion. Day 10 finishing touches going in. Say inside with the aid of my wife for several minutes verifying no light leaks. Diamond wall lining arriving today. Once that's in place the hydro system will be installed and up and running. Intake light trap works and air rushes thru the filter and blasts into the grow box. So far so good. Just wish I had more time in the evenings after work to finish building it. Hopefully this weekend will be done. 3/6/21 Finally got the box 98% done, enough so it's time to start germination. Placed 2 seeds in Rockwool cubes ph to 5.7. They'll share the space with one gelat.og which will be in its own diary.

D.21 had to switch over to RO water, tap way to high couldn't get enough feed in with out blasting out the tds/ec. Plants are a bit small, if they don't turn around in next week or so I may scrap.

Day 42 res change and initiate 12/12 flowering cycle Day 43 tied down several more branches to promote a flat canopy to maximize yield. Gave them their last "veg" meal and anticipate switching to bloom formula next week. D.48 plants are drinking well this week. Another daily EC drop with a slight ph rise. Changing over to bloom mix tomorrow with the res change.

Day 49 res change, had some AN Sensi Bloom laying around so I decided to use it until it's gone and switch to maxibloom. My God liquid nutes are expensive, Triple the cost of dry nutes. D.51 noticed some signs of nute issues. May have been from prior res change as ph went high for 2 days. D.53 adjusted a few tie downs and took some leaves to open airflow and light.

D.73 add 4g water D.76 mild defoliation and activated UV light. Starting with 3 x 10min cycles and will increase based on response. Changed Air Filter

D.100 lots more cloudy trichs in there. I'm guessing 2-3 days. D.101 still more clears than I like. D.103 taking 1 down tomorrow, the other in a day or so. D.104 one has been cut down. D.105 coming down tomorrow just before lights on D.106 2nd plant cut down. Grow phase officially complete. Currently drying in a 3x3 at avg 70F and 50%rh. 7 days of drying avg 70f 50%, sampled small nugg just dry enough to smoke. Very potent and definitely is a kush of sorts, no doubt. 11 days drying and Jarred up the first plant, probably jarring the other tomorrow. 10 days drying 2nd plant jarred up. Harvest report coming soon.

I will admit, I was very hands off this grow. I definitely was not dedicating enough time to ensure proper nutrition. Several times pH shot above 6.5 and ec hit 3.0 for a couple days before I had time to take action. This strain was very forgiving to the nutes abuse and took her burnt leaf tips in stride. I have one seed left and I'm contemplating hitting it with silver because this strain is a winner and if Fastbuds never releases it, we'll never have that recipe again. Overall I spent 153usd on this grow (100usd electric, 20usd on nutes, 33usd on misc) for an overall cost of 16usd/oz or 56 cents/g Actual g/watt 0.88 (3 plants used 469w. [²/³ x 469w = 309watts] 272g/309w= .88 g/watt) I also have 2 gallon ziplocks jammed full of primo trim and larf/popcorns/etc. waiting to be processed into ice hash and will yield at least 2 oz of kief/hash.
