I started the seeds out in a shot glass of water for 24 hours then put in paper towel until they were ready to be potted. The G-Walk had a tap root coming thru in the first 24 hours, while the Cookie Crisp F4 took 36 hours before tap root came out. Photo from 2/24
The G-Walk took off a lot faster than the Cookie Crisp. This Cookie Crisp seed was acting a little funny, where the first leaves come out (Cotyledon i think) was hard as if it still had a shell from the seed on but didnt. It was sticking almost straight up and was affecting how the next set of leaves growing in grew. But all in all they are looking pretty good!
The growth is coming along nicely. They didn't stretch to much but defiantly grew another set of leaves maybe two more. The G-Walk (FEM) is growing a little faster than the Cookie Crisp F4 (REG), I'm not sure if that is the norm for FEM seeds to grow faster than REGS, but I did notice that the G-Walk has a little bit more vigor. I'm still contemplating what kind of technique to use. I've only done topping and FIMing before, but was thinking about trying LST for a plant and see how it works.
