Continuing on this week, I was able to keep the log going, however I did miss the first day or so of photos for the week as I had some other matters. As you can see, they're coming along nicely! Reminder to keep checking back for the daily log updates! Day 8: M.C. 01-21 The clones haven't been watered in a couple days. I added about 500ml of water to the watering tray, making sure not to over water and choke out the roots. This clone remains as one of the more vigourous clones, and is already working on spacing out the 4th set of leaves now that the roots have fully reached the bottom. I can see the start of the 5th coming in as well! M.C. 02-21 The clones haven't been watered in a couple days. I added about 500ml of water to the watering tray, making sure not to over water and choke out the roots. This clone is still behind the other two, but doing well. I can tell that she's switching to growth, as some of the leaves are being leeched from. You can see some of the distinct discolouring on the top two leaves M.C. 03-21 The clones haven't been watered in a couple days. I added about 500ml of water to the watering tray, making sure not to over water and choke out the roots. This clone is very close to MC-01, and it's kind of hard to tell which one is truly doing better haha. Definitely not a bad problem to have. Nice green new growth, and the leaves are maintaining the broad structure of the mother plant - even if it slowed it down a bit ;) Day 9: M.C. 01-21 The clones have been transferred to my new 2x4ft tent that I'll eventually transition into a flowering tent once these clones mature. The pot is wet almost to the edge, unlike some of the others in the same tray. I sneak in 1-2 hours after the dark cycle starts when I can to make sure that there was enough water for the tray, so I would attribute this to a stronger root system and thirstier plant - noted ;) The 3rd node is now completely developed, the 4th well on it's way, and the 5th is now starting to get thicker and corrugated. M.C. 02-21 The clones have been transferred to my new 2x4ft tent that I'll eventually transition into a flowering tent once these clones mature. The soil is damp throughout, but not oversaturated. I keep checking daily on the root development at the bottom of the pot to to make sure nothing is choking or drying out. M.C. 03-21 The clones have been transferred to my new 2x4ft tent that I'll eventually transition into a flowering tent once these clones mature. The pot is wet almost to the edge, just like MC-01. The top set of leaves are also coming in nicely! Prosper my girl. Day 10: M.C. 01-21 No signs of distress from the new environment so far. The MIGRO ARRAY was dimmed to about 25% when I first put them in yesterday. Today I've bumped it up 5%, which I might repeat again depending on how they react. MC-01's pot is dry on the surface now. Added 500ml water to the tray. The 5th set of leaves are out now, and about the spread while the 4th seems to just be finishing up. I think I might actually be able to stick them in their final pots in about a week and start training if they stay on this track. M.C. 02-21 No signs of distress from the new environment so far. The MIGRO ARRAY was dimmed to about 25% when I first put them in yesterday. Today I've bumped it up 5%, which I might repeat again depending on how they react. MC-02's is almost dry, which is to be expected with the slightly smaller cut. Added 500ml water to the tray. Looks like the new set is 5-fingered, which is a great sign of health, considering the one side is still larger than the other. She's fallen behind slightly still, as the 4th leaves still haven't completely separated. The 5th node however is still poking through a bit. M.C. 03-21 No signs of distress from the new environment so far. The MIGRO ARRAY was dimmed to about 25% when I first put them in yesterday. Today I've bumped it up 5%, which I might repeat again depending on how they react. MC-03's pot is dry on the surface, and she's still perky! I definitely think this cut will be ready for a repotting within a week as well. Added 500ml water to the tray. The 3rd node is now completely developed, and the 4th is coming in nicely! Should separate soon. I think I can see the tip of the 5th node coming in as well! Day 11: M.C. 01-21 Decided to take a photo of all 3 beside my favourite coffee mug for reference. As you can see, the 4th node has now flattened out and the 5th is coming in nicely. I really love the complex texture and detail that's coming through on these leaves. It's really cool to observe the differences beside other strains. The pots feel like they have sufficient water content even though the soil tops look a little dry. M.C. 02-21 Decided to take a photo of all 3 beside my favourite coffee mug for reference. MC-02 is losing her symetrical growth, and still working on the 4th node. You can just start to see the 5th node starting, and the side branches are just starting to push out it seems at nodes 2 & 3. The pots feel like they have sufficient water content even though the soil tops look a little dry. M.C. 03-21 Decided to take a photo of all 3 beside my favourite coffee mug for reference. You can really notice the difference and gains that MC-01 got when you compare it with this shot of MC-03. MC-03 is now a full node set behind, but still growing vigorously. The 4th set are starting to split, and revealing the 5th node coming through. The pots feel like they have sufficient water content even though the soil tops look a little dry. Day 12: M.C. 01-21 Today's photos were taken about an hour after lights on, they're taking a bit longer to wake up today it seems. Started to observe the tiny branches developing at each node. So cool to see the progress. Added a splash of water to the bottom of the tray to keep the roots happy that are poking out. M.C. 02-21 The 4th node is separating more today, and no issues waking up for this girl. You can see some really nice coloured ribbing on the main stalk too - can't wait to get these girls to flower. Added a splash of water to the bottom of the tray to keep the roots happy that are poking out. M.C. 03-21 Another sleepy girl today, but otherwise good. Nice little leaves poking out at the 2nd node. Added a splash of water to the bottom of the tray to keep the roots happy that are poking out. Day 13: M.C. 01-21 Pictured today about 30 mins before lights out. They seem to be maxing out about 2 ish hours before the dark period. The taller clones seem to be more affected by this than the shorter one. They look really happy with the light throughout the day cycle though, so I'll keep them in there a bit longer while I prep the mother to flower. Added 750 ml water to the tray. M.C. 02-21 MC-02 seems to be the least affected, and tends to go to sleep closer to the lights off period but you can see in today's photo that she's still covering up quite a bit. Added 750 ml water to the tray. M.C. 03-21 This clone seems to be going to sleep the earliest. The leaves coming out at the 2nd node have 3 fingers now, so things are clearly still developing! Added 750 ml water to the tray. Day 14: M.C. 01-21 Here are the girls a couple of hours after lights on, to illustrate the drastic differences haha. Looking nice and happy, and easier to see progress when they aren't groggy. MC-01 is flattening out the 5th node, with the 6th coming in. The soil is just starting to dry out on the surface. I think I'll be switching the nutrients starting next week. All 3 clones could be repotted not, but I'm waiting on a resupply of diatomaceous earth before I get those ready, as I really want to keep those gnats at bay. M.C. 02-21 MC-02 is looking great with the 4th node out and the 5th coming in nicely. The leaves should split in the next 24-48 hours if things keep going the way the rest of the nodes went. The side branches still look good, and I think I'm noticing a slightly lighter green hue to the leaves overall, which could be telling me that theyre diverting/converting nutrients and getting ready for a spurt! M.C. 03-21 MC-03's 4th node is flattening out and the 5th is coming in nicely - infact just starting to split as you can see. Most notably the side branches are coming along! Despite the difference in nodes, this clone is very close in height to MC-01. This pot is the most dry of the 3, however I'll hold out to see if I change the nutrient solution.
