Ozzie Dead Head
Connoisseur genetics australian dead head
3rd March 2021
When I saw this strain advertised on Caveman seeds website I immediately purchased a pack .
I am glad I reacted so quickly because when I returned to the website the next day everything had been sold out that I
would be interested in buying. So here I am now about to grow one of these absolutely fantastic Seeds from beginning to End.
Heres a bit of information about this extraordianary strain and it's Parentage may surprise you 😀

Australian Dead Head Feminized Marijuana Seeds by Connoisseur Genetics Seeds: For this strain I took my amazing Mullumbimby Madness x Nevil Haze that I selected from some seeds that i was given to by a friend who recieved them from Neville Schoenmaker (The real Haze King) and man, this is the strongest weed i've smoked for well over a decade and i get around sampling more than most. I went to work taking the Casey Jones and reversed it to pollinate my Mulumbimby Madness X Nevil Haze creating one scary strain that is not suitable for lightweights and this is not a sales pitch.
Phenos range from early 8 week phenos earhty/diesel taste through to 12 weeks haze dom phenos that are the pineiest pine you ever smelled or tasted with every pheno a huge yielder.
This is a very stretchy strain so i advise to top multiple times from early on in veg if you got height issues, she responds well to all types of training and i would be super cropping into flower for first few weeks or flower or tying down or any kind of training.
Shout to Kangativaa legend who has held and grown this Mulumbimby madness for years that was used in the x neville made that i used to make this hybrid.
Flowering Time: 8 to 10 weeks
Genetics: Mullumbimby Madness x Nevil Haze
Aroma/Flavour: Earhty/diesel

It was a good week for the Deadhead seedling , I gave it some superthrive @1ml / 3 Litres 👊
I also popped a second seed that came up without cotyledon's .
Despite that it looks absolutely fine .
Cheers for stopping by 👍

Deadheads looking good , Ive done the first Topping and will soon repot her into a 30L pot that I have already
prefilled with Soil , worm castings plus some coco and perlite for extra drainage 👌
The shape of this plant is not what I was expecting from a Mullum x nev's haze in fact it looks very indica like .
Maybe this is displaying traits from the Casey Jones used in the original cross of this strain .
Once I repot I will give her another light feeding but until then it's just plain water .

So far I am very Impressed with how the Deadhead is progressing 😃 its developed quite well in it's first 3 weeks
of vegetation under a mix of Natural sunshine and the Mars ts1000 light .
Each morning it goes out into the sun then at aprox 430pm it goes back under the grow light until midnight
thus getting it's 18 hours of daily "lighting" . 😎
No Feeds needed this week as it's taking what it needs from my soil mix .
Next week it will get a bit of Superthrive and seaweed solution .
That is all for this week , Cheers for stopping by 👍

Another good week for the deadhead , I performed another series of topping to the branches . 👊
The plant is growing nicely and I'll be doing some HST (bending) to the main branches in coming days.
I'm estimating two to three more weeks and then I should be able to iniate flowering.
Now that we are having less than 12hours of sunlight each day It will be as simple as leaving her out at night instead
of giving her the extra 6 hours of LED lighting that she's been getting 😎 .
Then depending on the stretch I will decide whether to then move her indoors to finish or leave it outdoors and
allow it to flourish under the Aussie Sun.
Also... I'm gonna take the two lowest branches and attempt to clone them .
Thats about it for this weeks update.
Cheers for stopping by 👍

Okay She's starting to take shape , Ive done the HST bending and a third series of topping .
I'll give it one more week of 18hrs then I'm gonna let her naturally transition into Flowering .
These look to be some great genetics and so far I have found this plant to be willing and able to take
everything I have thrown at it. 💪💪
I put in a small amount of pellet form Guano to give it a kick start towards flowering.
Thanks for stopping by 👍

We were extremely lucky here not to have sustained more damage from the Cyclone which tore thru Western Australia
on Sunday night 😟 Other Towns were not so lucky and were pretty much smashed to pieces
More LST and HST this week to achieve more growth and keep the canopy as level as possible 😎
I left this Deadhead lady out for the first time last night and so she is now on a 12/12 or thereabouts light schedule .
I'll let her continue to get sunlight as her light source until the daytime and night temps drop too low
and then she will go into the grow tent under the Mars Hydro TSW2000 for the rest of the flowering until Harvest 👊

A good week of sunshine and warm days have helped the deadhead to put on some growth 👊
First preflowers are showing so hopefully not too much longer before she starts to bloom
I gave it some of the "Fruit Roids" from Dr Greenthumb organics AU which is a blend of goodies designed to
provide fast access via the roots when mixed and watered into the soil. 💪
I'm trying to keep on top of the training and doing an ok job I think.

A Big week for the deadhead , I transplanted her into a much larger 50L pot and performed more
HST and LST right on schedule because the flowering has begun . 😀 👊
No feeds needed this week but will add more Guano ready for next week 👌
I hope that I have done a good job with the training on this one , so far it's been super fun 😎
Once again cheers for stopping by 👍

Boom!! 👊
Full on flowering now 😀 I gave her a good handful of pellet form Guano and watered it in really well .
Tidied up the canopy a tiny bit and she's good to go 💪
These genetics are awesome , lots of vigor and I'm hoping for a good outcome from the deadhead 👌

Flowering like a champ now 💪
I'm super happy with this one and proud of the way I successfully tamed her with the HST and LST training. 😎
Because the days here are still sunny and warm I will allow her to remain outdoors for at least 3 more weeks
and then She will most likely be moved in under the Mars TSW2000
I've noticed the bottom leaves are yellowing a bit so gave her some Nitrogen based organic nutes 👌

Anyhoo this Ozzie Deadhead is looking pretty bloody Incredible !!!
👌
I have gone ahead and moved her in under the MARS HYDRO TSW2000 Led Grow light where she will
stay from now until her eventual Harvest in maybe 6 weeks??
I am starting to get a Very Piney smell from these buds and they seem to get stickier every day
absolutely enjoying growing this Plant from Connoisseur Genetics in the UK 💪

***** Flowering with a Mars Hydro TSW2000 *******
Buds look a little frazzled as I needed to spray some Natures way Caterpillar spray
onto the entire plant before it got any more infested.
The Buds smell really good and have that greasy and sticky feel to them that leaves your hands
covered in a heavenly smelling film of Goodness 😍
No Feeds needed for the deadhead this week she's doing well with the guano 👌
Thanks for stopping by 👍

She is starting to fade already 😏 Not sure if she has become locked out from nutrients thru a problem with the ph
or if it could be the colder nights making it start moving towards finishing ??
I have fed her some more Guano pellets as well as some worm tea and molasses but from the look of
the lowest fan leaves they won't be coming back from that.
Apart from that I think she is starting to look pretty nice with those purpling sugar leaves in contrast with the
green and yellowing leaves 😃
Nothing much else this week to report
Cheers once again for stopping by 👍

👉 Flowering under a Mars Hydro TSW2000 👈
Bloody grow diaries playing up again my diaries aren't updating properly 😖
Anyway this plant is really starting to build towards maturity now.
I must have got a slightly faster finishing phenotype plus only getting 11 hours of light may have triggered a
faster response from the plant?? who knows?
She smells really piney and although the buds are not Huge , they are covered in crystals 😍
Fed her some molasses which is all she will be getting before the final week when it will be Water Only . 👊
Cheers for stopping by 👍

Well what can I say .. Bloody brilliant would be a good start I have waited until this month to really get into this strain
after a few months curing. 😀
This stuff rips ya head off 😁
Tastes Bonza ( Aussie for great ) 😉
and even the lingering smoke smell has an excellence about it
I recommend trying the Aussie deadhead from Connoisseur genetics it is a fantastic strain
