Middle of Germination Week Update:
- Started by using 5 gallon fabric pots filled to the brim with Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil (US Version). Not be adding any Dry amendments for another 3 weeks.
- Soaked then in water ph 6.5 using Grotek Ph Down with added Plantimatter Cal-Med (Cal-mag).
- Left in tent for 24 hours with lights on the whole time on full blast.
- The LED's height is 40" above the top of the soil.
- Next day planted the seeds 1 cm deep lightly covered & left them alone for 4 days with a light schedule of 10 hrs ON/ 14 hrs OFF and R/B/W settings at 15/40/40 as per the ViparSpectra PAR 450 recommendations.
- Going forward for the next 3 days the light schedule will be 12 hrs ON/ 12 hrs OFF and R/B/W settings to 30/60/60 as per the instructions.
Maybe not,its a bit long but still poss.You didn't plant it too deep like a lot of people do did you.It only needs to be the depth of the seeds,a few mm.
- Running a week of 12/12 on/off with the R/W/B at 30/60/60 as per the lighting suggestion.
- Pots are still moist from the initial soaking 10 days ago. I will however water then before the next week begins.
