All three seeds have cracked a quarter inch tap root about two days into being in a zip locked, lightly damp paper towel. One seed is slower than the others so I wonder if it will catch up or just be a runt.
It’s winter season here so they weren’t under the best conditions yet surprisingly still germinated, but has been noticeably slower. I also planted them directly in the promix about half an inch deep. Straight tap water, no nutes. However, I did dip the tap roots in a cloning solution before planting.
I will start week 1 of veg the day of the plants sprouts it’s first set of leaves.
Will definitely consider going back to starting my seeds in peat pucks with a dome but this was still a good experiment.
Update: the slowest seedling started growing underground with a really short tap root almost a week since planting. I have transplanted it into a peat puck. I am a curious to see if it will survive.
Starting week 1 of veg. 2 out of 3 seeds survived and sprouted their first set of leaves. They both had their shells and a thin film that was preventing the leaves from sprouting for at least a few days. They seem to be fine now but definitely stunted some growth.
Feeding straight tap water for now. This stage is really slow and boring lol I’m so impatient with seedlings.
So far third times a charm has been a flop🤣
Started with 3 seeds. One killed it self from birth. Now the second is barely growing, which was something I noticed early on. So I am left with one plant that is growing fairly well however, she is already showing leaf mutations🙃 I’m most likely going to end up killing the second one off and keeping my one plant alive as long as I can while I get another project going.
That being said I am eager to try another mainline grow!😁
Well I’m down to 1 obi wan kush plant now. The other 2 killed themselves lol.
She’s growing very nicely so, I will leave her alone for about another week while I decide what type of training I will implement.
Growth is really starting to take off now. She’s doubled in size over the past week!
I decided for this grow I will try fimming for the first time! If I don’t like how she grows I will just properly top her.
I do need to dial my nutes back slightly as she is showing slight bit of tip burn. Doesn’t seem to be bother her what so ever.
She looks a little droopy in the pics because she was just waking up at the time:)
Still growing well. She’s recovering from her fimming and is in need for a transplant. Been neglecting her a bit this week as I was busy harvesting my last grow.
Transplanted her into a 5 gallon pot. Did some minor lst and am also removing all the fan leaves coming off the main stem to hopefully slow down vertical growth. Also, moved her under the optic 2, running just the cobs.
Starting week 7 of veg.
Still letting her widen out . I started training her a bit more last week and she’s looking very even already considering she hasn’t been topped.
However I did fim her once as an experiment and she still is growing her main cola.
Starting week 8 of veg.
Unfortunately fimming didn’t really go as planned, the growth was inconsistent off the main stem. I removed a good 7 nodes from the top.
I will just stick to good old topping and lst from now on. Was worth the experiment though.
I’ll give her another week to recover as well as I will need to re train her canopy.
Starting day 1 of flower, easily my favourite day of the grow 🤠
Things didn’t go exactly as planned structure wise. Fimming didn’t grow as consistently as I would have liked so, I ended up topping several nodes off the main stem and re training her canopy which resulted in a slightly longer veg time. I also pruned each of the branches quite a bit as I want to go for minimal popcorn buds. Overall, I’m very happy with how wide and low she is😁
This is my third time flowering a cannabis plant so I’m hoping this goes smoother than the last grow. I will go a lot lighter on the nutrients this run.
Nothing much to do now except watch her stretch over the next couple weeks :) We did all the work in veg so now we just sit back for a bit and relax😉
Week 2 of flower has been off to a great start😁
She has easily doubled in height and has taken up the space of the 2x2. The training has really paid off because she only about a foot tall from the top of her 5 gallon pot. A Low canopy height is crucial for me as my tent is only 4 feet tall.
I got some terpinator and orca this week to add to my arsenal of nutrients so I’m curious to see how they do! I will start increasing my feed next week.
Still haven’t done any work other than watering. I’m really tempted to defoliate her as she is very indica dominant with short node spacing but I will wait until the end of next week before I do anything.

Week 3 of flower has been going well for the most part.
I got some terpinator last week and I can confidently say do not follow their recommended dose lol (at least with remo nutrients). I did half of what they recommend and got a little bit of tip burn which I’m not too mad about however, at this stage I would rather not see any burns. She still looks very happy otherwise😁
I did a heavy leaf stripping today, more than I usually would but the node spacing is so short that practically no light was penetrating the lower canopy. I always feel bad removing her beautiful leaves but I know she will fill out again in no time.
Just on auto pilot now until we will defoliate again in a couple weeks. Buds should start swelling up nicely🤞💚
End of week 4 has been going great!
Had some tip burn last week so I’ve just been monitoring any nutrient imbalances. Dropped my feed down about a 1/4 dose overall and she appears to be just fine:) at least for now lol
She fattening up and layering her frost more and more everyday. Her terps remind me of the blueberry strain I did, which I really liked! Very fruity although some gas would be nice😜

This week has been a lot more exciting😄😄
I finally have a plant that is showing some purples lol although there is about a 7 degree day/night temperature differences which could explain the colour change.
The tip burn did get slightly worse from last week even though I lowered my feed. Since further decreasing my feed she’s been a lot happier. Especially because now she is drinking over 3L of water everyday.
She’s really fattening up everyday it seems now, fruity smells really becoming more pronounced and the frost is on point already😱😱 I’m very happy I kept a cut of this girl🙂
I really hope she continues to impress me over the next couple of weeks🤞
She has really chunked up this week and she’s beginning to fade now. Fan leaves are starting to yellow and buds are purpling up more and more. She still has a lot of white hairs so it’s looks like I may have to go at least a few more weeks. Will be interesting to see how much bigger she can get🤔
She has this really fruity aroma that I can’t quite explain, kinda sweet lemon smell with a hint of pine. I really like the terps on this strain😁
I haven’t increased my feed at all and she still seems to be getting burned. If I give her plain water more than once I start seeing deficiencies lol I’ve have heard that skywalker strains can be finicky. Oh well, she still looks better than all my previous grows. This is also the last week I will be feeding 😄✌️

She’s been slowly fading on her own this week showing a lot more purples and yellows (my lights make the plant one more yellow than it is). It’s the summer season here so she has been a little hotter and humid than I would like. There’s still a bunch of white hairs on the tips of her tops so maybe its genetic🧐
Going to start the flushing phase from here on. I’m not too crazy about the bud structure but the fruity terps are really making up for it.

Been leeching the medium for the past week now. She’s really been eating her fan leaves and showing a bit more colour.
I dimmed the lights down to 50% as well. The tops seem to be fox tailing a bit but based on other grows I’ve seen this seems normal?🧐 I will give her another week max before I harvest her.
Despite not being crazy about the bud structure, she smells amazing! Really fruity terps and looks like she’ll yeild a decent amount as well😁🤞
I have officially harvested my third grow🤘🤠
We went 61 days in flower before we cut her down. I’m learning more with every grow and I’m really enjoying the process:)
She appears to have fox tailed a bit with some white pistils still. I want to say it’s genetic because I doubt my 200w light at 17” could’ve done this? But I have noticed this plant likes a lot less of everything compared to my other grows so, maybe it was my error.
She will be drying in the tent at about 21 degrees and 60% humidity until I feel she is ready to be trimmed and jarred. I want her to be dry enough but not so dry that I start losing terps. I would much rather burp my jars than have my crop get too dry. Either way we’ll play it by ear.
I will report back with a dry weight after everything has been jarred✌️
The buds have been drying and curing for 14 days now. They have a sweet lemon smell with a hint of pine. I’m a big fan of the terps and the high is spot on, really strong stuff!👌 I also got about 4 grams of trimbin hash which was nice🙂
The tops are really dense but there was still some larf most likely because of how dense the canopy was.
Harvested my third grow and second strain from Canuk seeds. Both plants from them have been absolute bangers! I highly recommend growing their seeds.
I ended up with 176.2 g about 6.2 oz of trimmed and dried bud with one plant. It wasn’t as high as the last plant but mainly because I didn’t let her get as big and I pruned up all of the 8 branches she had but we still got kinda close🙂
Overall, I’m very happy with this run. I learned a ton once again and I love every bit of growing these beautiful plants!

Very healthy beast of a plant💪. Tip burn is fine as long as it stays on just the first few millimeters. I think you'll be glad you did that defoliation, it definitely needed it 👍
