drogonation This is the first week for this AUTO Gorilla. This is also my first time doing DRIPPING/HYDRO. I hope everything runs smoothly.
I'm planning to clean the reservoir up each 7 days and refill it with the new solution which changes a bit weekly.
I'm following the feeding schedule proposed by the manufactory (Advanced Labs). To do that so I'll be using their app called "Nutrient Calculator"

drogonation The week 2 has arrived.
First change was raise my reservoir from 15LT to 20LT because on the end of the week the reservoir level was too low (less the 10LT), the dripping pump was not working fine because.
Another consequence for low water levels was high PPM, as the water evaporate and the plants are too are young to consume all the nutrients in time we end up in a very high PPH water (900)
I've noticed also a very high PH (6.8), after google it I found that clay pellets do that for real. So I'm everyday checking and PHDowning my solution. (PH Perfect technology can't hold it alone)
I've started LST anyway, despite the burned leaves the growth is good and she is tall enough.

drogonation I've kept the nutrient balance from the second week, because I did start feeding them a bit early and I've got some burned leaves because.
My reservoir PH is everyday over 7!!!! The "Phdowning" is necessary daily. I decrease the solution near to 5 and subsequently day by day. It looks like a endless battle. After some research I've figured out that the clay pebbles I'm using are has low quality which contains dust, and I also found that this pebbles has ph around 7.
I'll keep ph downing my reservoir daily.
I did stop using distilled water. I'm just filtering my HARD water in a conventional kitchen filter. the ppm is around 150 and I will try anyway.

drogonation As I'm posting really backwards I don't have the real and precise information about this week.
But I can say that FINALLY I reached PH stability. After 15 days phDowning my solution, it's finally stable close to 6.
The bunging leaves sims to be fine as well, I removed those, and I have no more bad surprises.
I think I've started counting the vegetation weeks a bit early and this seems like the 3rd week instead. Nevertheless I kept the feeling schedule as it was on the 3rd week.

drogonation The 5th week has started, the growth is really nice. Next week I will switch the flowering nutrients.
The PH is now really under control, it decreases daily as the reservoir level go down.
The heating under the ground keeps the humidity very low, and therefore I have to fill up the reservoir with extra 5L during the week, because the water evaporates very fast.

drogonation The first flowering symptoms can be seen. Although I'm a bit conserned abou (Why is taking so long).
Everything else seems to be fine. Nice leaves, not even one yellow leave or any burn signal.
Amazing roots development.
I will defoliate it again, removing every branch on the botton which cleary will not reach the light anymore.
Have you ever seen a auto flowering takes more then 5 weeks to show some flowers indeed? Am I been to anxious?

drogonation We are kicking off the 7th week since seedling have done.
I will wait 1 week longer at least to say thay my plants are stuck on pre-flowering.
What I can definitely say is:
- HYDRO is life.
All the problems about over/under feeding are gone. I'll never go back to soil growth anymore.
That's it. I've removed all the branches which cleary wouldn't reach the lights. The plant is a GIANT. It have taken all the space inside the tent. I had a lot os work to put my LED Panels sticked to the ceiling. I've also did bend the main branches because they were 10 cm close to the lights.
Hi growing with coco and advance nutrients for the first time and I see your ppm during seedling stage is 440? I've been reading loads and they say it to exceed 300 on the ppm700 scale.. is this bullshit? I will follow ❤️🌱🍁 happy growing
@OrganicNature420,
Hi dude, nice to see you.
I'm following the advanced nutrients app recommendation, and I'm using distilled water (0ppm). So I would say it's ok to have 400 ppm on seedling/early vegetative state.
Indeed I have some leaves burned but I guess it's because I'm learning Hydroponics and finding some interesting problems to be solved. (High PH raised by the clay pellets, HI PPM as the water levels decrease during the week on evaporation and so on)
@drogonation, my seedlings only 2 days old so didn't want to exceed 200ppm as my run off was around 225ppm. Thanks for the advice as I will stick that in my notes. Happy growing friend ❤️🌱🍁👍🏻🍀🤞🏻
