Mimosa evo fem by barney farms.
I removed from cloning dome a day after it broke the soil. I just put seed into soil ( FF ocean forest) I've been cooking with earth dust base and extra microbes and bacteria and fungi from few companys. They all had different varieties of life so I added a custom mix. I will be transferring her to a 4gal or 5gal fabric pot soon.
I have her in the tent now with the hlg 550 and am running the 30w UVa light the whole life cycle. Not just the end of flowering. For one I have autos in the tent using it and for 2 I dont think it's that serious, I think they will do well.
With earth dust i only water. It has all kinds of good stuff and life in it. It makes a living soil.
Ok I planted a dos si dos 33 and the plant broke the soil and the seed got stuck. I removed it but the stem never straightened out and she died.
I planted another same day the 1st died. #2 broke the soil. She had a struggle with her seed to. Need to learn cause. So the shell is off now let's see if she opens her leaves.
Ok she is doing good. Both. Question is are the leaves ok curled like this on the 33?
They are just growing fine. I translated the mimosa evo to a five gallon fabric pot.
I cooked soil with earth dust base. 3tbsp per gallon of soil. I won't add the boost till later.
I also started using great white and uprising grow, foundation, & bloom.
Just for added food for the microbes.
I am going to transplant the dos-si-dos 33 in a week or sooner. Idk what size container. 2,4,or 5?
I think im going to go with 5. Im not sure. I want to keep a mother of both. Maybe it will be a clipping turned mother. Keep them in my 2gal pots.
I have a 2x4 jardin tent and electric sky 300 coming that I might switch over to. I'm notsure. Stay tuned family.
I am topping and mainlining both of these. One is a week ahead of the other. They are growing fine. I should of waited a little longer to top the mimosa evo. Shes fine now anyway.
I plan on topping the Dos si dos 33 next week. I want to clone the clipping so I'm trying to wait till shes a little bigger.
So they are growing. Lights are about off in the photo so leaves are about to sleep, but I'm also probally overwatering.
I am trying to get on top of that. I havent watered till run off anyway.
I'm try and water less. Going to top/mainline the dos si dos 33 really soon. The mimosa evo is due for a second topping soon also.
Ok so not much going on. Not taken much photos. Both have gotten topped. The mimosa evo gotten her last topping of all 4 main nodes. I'm stopping there and leaving it a 8 main colas. Same with the Dos si dos33. She is a topping behind because she is a week younger. The first seedling died from being too wet I believe. Like rotted. Anyway, they are looking better because I've lowered the watering and less frequent. Little to much nitrogen. All seems good. Just keeping my watering on point is my goal. Letting them recover and take more photos.
Mushrooms are psilocybin cubensis variety 'texas orange cap'
Took big base fan leaves off. Tying them down spreading them out. I wonder when im going to put into my new flower tent. Secret jardin 2x4 w/ electric sky v300. Its amazing.
These girls are doing great. I've tightened up my watering skills. Just feeding the soil. Started using the uva light early. .
They are done soon in veg.
I need to add earth dust boost into the soil a week before flower.
Ok I added earth dust boost. I'm put mimosa evo in flower tent in a week. Dos si dos 33 a week after probally. This mainline had went perfect so far. Its beautiful. Both of them. I practiced on autos and clones of my somango & jolly rancher gelato clones. So they look good. I'm staying at 8 tops. Maybe double after I pull this off. Stay tuned
ok so this week diary is mainly about the mimosa evo going into flower.
the dos si dos 33 and 4 clones of dos si dos 33 are still in veg. the feeding schedule for it is added to the diary.
only the mimosa evo got earth dust "boost". 3 tbs per gallon of soil(5gal)=15 table spoons of earth dust boost. i will add it in again 30 days from when i added it this time. i dont need anything else to feed the plant. just the last E.D. boost amendment in 30days. i still add extra stuff to , ya know, beef things up.
so on the feeding chart its both plants on there but the mimosa only got earth dust and the dos si dos 33 (main plant) got the rest of the aurora schedule for week 4. it is a week behind the mimosa anyway. the clones of the dos33 is only getting water because the soil is fox farms ocean forest and i aslo add earth dust "base" to my soil. so its amended well enough to get them thru.
im not used to photoperiod plants so i dont know when im supposed to flip to 12/12. i hope the mimosa evo gets big. the rest of the stuff in the flower tent is somango clones that were supposed to be auto and never did. the mother was 4 months old and i just killed her. hard thing to do. lol. anyway, i dont know how they will act. the jolly rancher gelato clones in the top of the tent, they dont really stretch. they just stay short and get little fat dense nugs.
well this is the 1st week of flower for mimosa evo.
i dont know when i will put the dos si dos 33 into flower. maybe another week or 2 even. i want a medium sized plant. not small but not to big.
love the new light. electric sky v300. i have it at about 24 inches and about 80% power.
i love the mainline effect. the perfect symmetry. its like sacred geometry. neat. plus the stems are thick. the mimosa stems at the base almost grew wide and flat. cool looking.
turn on, tune in, drop out
so, i tied down the plants again at the beginning of entering flower. this is their 2nd week in flower. well dos is dos 33 is a week behind. they are stretching well. i even cleaned up the underneath of the mimosa evo and put all the clippings into the auto cloner.
i have been using aurora nutrients. i also use earth dust so i don't need anything else but i like to experiment. everything is on cruise control right now really. i have other plants in the tent. (jolly rancher gelato clones and somango clones) the jolly ranchers wont be stretching anymore. they dont really get very tall. stays small. the somango I'm not sure. i think they will keep up with the M.E. and DsD33. i cant wait to start seeing the little budlets forming.
i hope the room in the tent will be adequate. i have trellis if i need it.
I'm having issues with high humidity. the tent is a 2x4x6 with a 4in inline exhaust. i need to upgrade to the 6 inch to beat this humidity issue. i have tent open during the days and the rooms dehumidifier running next to the tent. keeps it at 40-50. tent closed its 55-65% so i try and keep it open when i can. until i get new exhaust. i hope soon before these buds form.
turn on, tune in, & drop out.
i fed the girls with a TEA i brewed for 24hours. i used what was on the schedule for the most part. i also added 2 cups of worm castings, shot of molasses, 1 tsp elemental & great white, 1 tbsp microbe charge, super phos rock, 3 tbsp of terp tea bloom. i had a lot of plants needing the bloom part of the schedule so i made a tea to make it easier. i made 5gallons of the tea and cut it by 50% before i used. i didn't get the PPM and i wish i did.
they are growing so good. the dos si dos 33 is a little smaller of a plant all the way around i think. i may need to raise her on a stand so she can be level with the mimosa evo. im so impressed with how well these plants are doing and aurora nutrients. they are great.
i have clones going of both. some of the clones are being trained by topping and tying. some are for more clones.
the clones of the mimosa evo grew roots really fast. i tranplanted them into soil at day 8 or 9. thats the fastest ive cloned anything. love the auto cloner i built. need to clean it out before i keep using it.
some of the mimosa evo clones look like they might have powdery mildew. its either that or its mineral deposits from my water/neem oil/nutrient mix i spray on them. i dont know. i looked in the pocket microscope and it doesnt look like PM on there. idk.
the Dos si dos 33 is younger and you can tell.
i love my new light. electric sky v300. great quality light. its at 18in from the tops of the mimosa and even farther from the rest. need to raise my plants to the height of Mimosa evo. Hope them buds are just as beautiful and big.
ok so pretty good week. everything is starting to bud at great pace. i made a tea again this week. i just follow the schedule for the nutrients. i usually go on the light side of the scale when it comes to strength. Its so much easier to make a big tea brew that way i can just water the 8 plants in the flower tent and the few autos in the veg tent. I will probably continue to just keep making teas. the veg tent is getting as full as the flower tent. im going to have to downsize. i did some trimming on the plants and made my wife a bouquet. we are spraying them and just leaving them on the table where sun light can splash. so maybe they will root. they are mimosa evo.
I am going to start some Jawa Pie and try and get a male. i want to cross the Jawa pie with Mimosa evo.
the rooted clones from the auto cloner are in soil now and growing. i had white stuff on the leaves and i dont know if it was a residue from using neem oil in the water spraying them or if it was powerdert mildew. i looked in pocket microscope and it didnt look like WPM. i shut cloner down and cleaned it. i havent hooked her back up yet.
i topped all nodes on the dos-si-dos 33 and tied them down. she is doing fine and growing again. the other big Dos33 clones are getting too big and i might have to take clones off her and 86 her. the other big one that has 4 mains i will keep.
well i think the stretch is over? i dont know when it is normally because i have only grew autos, for the most part. Stay tunes for bigger nugs next week.
ps- trichomes are forming
so i had mites since last weeks photos. hell maybe i had them then. they was only on the bottoms of the fabric pots mainly in the top left side of the flower tent. i believe i brought them inside in a compost tea i made. they came from the compost. they didnt casue any issues yet, might have even been good mites. i didnt identify them, just killed them.
using neem oil, mammoth canncontrol, 70%iso, dimactious earth(misspelled) . worked great. added an extra fan and took down the oldest plant in there which was a jolly rancher gelato clone. they stay very small.
so i did a top dressing this week as the schedule says. its made for containers 10-20 gallon. i only use 2-5gallon containers so i just cut down what it says by .5 or even .25. havent had much nute burn with them so everything is good on that level. maybe i should even up the dose till i see just a little nute burn.
most of the photos are of the mimosa evo. she is just a really cool tall plant. getting frosty fast. more than all the other strains in here.
i will try to add more of the dos si dos 33 photos in. she is just a small plant. buds will grow into just main colas i hope. 8 little big mains. lol.
this is my favorite plant to date growing. the mimosa evo. its just so big and beautiful. the buds are so so frosty already. they are swelling and growing.
i have hopes of crossing this in the future with jawa pie by ocean grown.
i got so excited about mimosa evo i just ordered some mimosa evo x orange punch by barneys farm.
i was gifted some regular seeds of layer cake x chocolate nightmare. i think i might want to try and cross that strain with this mimosa as well.
the dos si dos 33 is growing well. it stayed pretty short and smells just like oranges. more than the mimosa evo does. both are top shelf.
the dos33 in the flower tent is showing some spots on the upper leaves after yesterdays feeding. maybe it was to strong of top dressing. hopefully it will just work itself out with the living soil. i have hard time with watering to much or to often and that causes issues but i think ive been doing pretty well in the flower tent.
i have 2 dos si dos 33 clones in the 4x4 that are 2 months old and i just added earth dust boost to the soil. i will put them into flower in about a week. i am tight on room right now so im kind of just stalling things as much as i can and hurrying other thing if i can.
until then they are just growing and growing. getting bushy. i will probally start my auto cloner back up and get some clippings off her before i flip.
stay tuned....
I'm very behind on my diary. All of them.
Here are some phone pics.
I love this plant. I have the mimosa evo x orange punch cross seeds. 3 of them.
I also have pods on my c.s. sprayed clone
