Girl Scout Cookies Extreme

Mickeyd Of the two seeds, I planted only one sprouted. starting another so I'll have two plants of Girl Scout Cookies Extreme from ILGM in this grow. Learned about pot size in my last grow. Used too small a pot for them and they got badly root-bound and it reduced my yield considerably. Switched to 5 gal buckets for this grow, so that shouldn't be a problem. I have high hopes for this grow.

Mickeyd The plant on the right is in week 3 and the one on the left is in week 1, they are 9 days apart. One of the original two seeds did not sprout so I germinated a second one to replace it. Both look great and healthy. I have high hopes for this grow. My last one didn't do as well as expected I think mainly because the pots I was using were too small and both plants got very root-bound so didn't get as large or grow as many buds as expected. For this grow I switched to 5 gal buckets so they have plenty of room to grow and both seem to like the extra space. The first one is growing quite fast now and adding lots of leaves. I will apply LST when they get a bit taller to hopefully maximize the yield. #1 should be ready to harvest around 5/11 with the second 9 days later or thereabouts.

Mickeyd GSC #1 is growing fast. I started LST on this plant today, I'll adjust over the next couple of weeks to ensure that she is getting max light coverage for the biggest yield. GSC#2 is about 9 days behind #1 from same batch of seeds from ILGM. First one germinated OK but didn't sprout in the soil so I replaced it with a second seed that germinated and was planted 9 days later. Both look healthy and strong. I've been alternating plain water and water with nutes and they are needing a drink about every 3-4 days. Using a moisture meter to determine when they need water.

Mickeyd Applied LST to GSC1 she's growing nicely. Now 10" tall and showing lots of bud sites. Switched to Tiger Bloom nutes for GSC1, GSC2 is still getting plain water and Veg nutes. Both look healthy and strong. GSC1 is filling out well and the LST seems to be working. Several additional bud sites have popped up since I did it. Expecting a much better yield than last grow partly owing to LST and partly to being in a much bigger pot giving them room to grow.

Mickeyd Applied LST to GSC2, it has done wonders for GSC1, lots of new bud sites and she is growing fast. Should be ready to harvest in 2-3 weeks. GSC2 is starting to show more bud sites as well, not as tall, but growing nicely she is 9-10 days behind GSC1 so she will harvest later. Quite pleased with the effect of LST on both plants. I also think that the bigger pot size is helping them grow bigger and better. When I harvested the last crop and realized both plants were badly root bound, I decided then to switch to bigger 5 Gal pots and it has been a good decision. Now with both girls in full flower I've switched to Tiger Bloom nutes for both and am adding it to every other watering. I'll switch to flush mode on GSC1 next week and GSC2 in two weeks. I like the idea of flushing all chemicals out of the plants before harvest even though my nutes are all-natural and organic. High hopes for a bountiful harvest.

Mickeyd Both plants are starting to show trichomes, still pretty small, but there are lots of them. GSC 1 should be ready to harvest in about 2 weeks, GSC 2 about 10 days after that. Both have a lot of buds on them and are growing nicely. Expect to have a good yield from both, quite pleased with LST and the bigger pots. This will become standard practice for my grows from now on. Can't wait to see how much I get from these two girls.

Mickeyd These two plants are doing very well. Not getting any taller, but the buds are fattening and getting very dense. I expect about 2 more weeks till harvest. Trichomes are still clear to milky no amber showing yet. Haven't been giving any nutes for the past two weeks to flush before harvest. Expecting a good yield from this grow. LST sure did help add buds to the plants and I'll be using that every crop from now on. They are using more water so I think that's a good sign too. Can't wait to sample this crop.

Mickeyd This is the first of two plants in this grow. The second is about 10 days to two weeks behind this one. Quite pleased with the yield from the first plant, the buds are nice and firm and she is super sticky with lots of trichomes. Can't wait tlll she's dry enough to try.
