My biggest drying problem is definitely that I can’t properly control the humidity or the temperature.🙀
My drying setup basically consists of old rack grids hanging in a dark corner between the kitchen and the guest bathroom 😹🌿
My next harvest will be ready in just a few days, but unfortunately the timing doesn’t really fit the contest window. So the next run will probably be the one for it 🙏🏼
That grow should start in around two weeks, and the harvest window will likely be somewhere around 12–15 weeks later 🌱⏳
Because I dry everything more or less openly, my whole house smells super strong like weed during the drying process 😶🌫️🏠 Honestly, that doesn’t bother me personally at all, and since it’s legal here now, it’s not a huge issue either. But still… no need to tempt fate too much 😹🍀
I wish everyone taking part the best of luck, and may the worst dry setup win! 🐱😸

Hey everyone, here is my application for the DryRocket testing. This device would be an absolute game changer for my specific situation.
My current drying setup:
Straight in my grow tent. The catch? My tent is located directly under the roof in an attic space. I have basically zero control over the climate once the tent is off.
My biggest drying problem:
I am completely at the mercy of the seasons, making a consistent environment impossible. In the summer, it gets way too hot to dry properly (terpenes are just evaporating), and in the winter, it gets freezing cold. Right now, the ambient humidity in that room is sitting at around 70%, so I am constantly battling the fear of mold. Getting a perfect VPD for a slow, clean dry is my biggest struggle, and I am rarely happy with my final curing results because of it.
When my next harvest is expected:
In exactly 4 to 5 weeks! I’ve got three Super Lemon Haze plants finishing up, so the timing to test the DryRocket would be absolutely perfect.
Grow diary:
I don’t have an active diary for this specific run, because it's my very first time growing in pure coco. I wanted to focus entirely on learning the ropes (and surviving some beginner mistakes! 😅). However, I have documented the entire grow with lots of pictures that I can gladly share. If I get selected, I will 100% start a detailed public diary to document the DryRocket drying process and share my new coco knowledge with the community for my next run.
I also now did start a test diary for my first run with coco, you can see it in my Profil.
Fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone! 🚀

Hello!
I used to run a bigger tent, so during harvest I placed a smaller tent inside the main tent to use as a drying space. The problem was that the main tent was still full of flowering plants, which created a lot of heat and unstable humidity. Because of that, the buds dried way too fast… definitely not ideal 😅
This time I only had one plant finishing, so I could finally dry properly using a drying net while hanging the rest of the plant whole. With these huge dense buds, I really wanted to avoid bud rot and get a slower, more controlled dry.
Now the challenge is that I’m planning to grow multiple strains at the same time again, all finishing at different speeds, and my current setup just isn’t working well for that. I need a separate drying solution where I can properly control temperature and RH without affecting the flowering tent.
That’s why I’ve been seriously looking at getting a Dry Rocket or something similar. A dedicated drying unit would let me keep stable conditions around 60/60, slow the drying process down, preserve terpenes better, and avoid the heat spikes and humidity swings I get from drying inside the grow room.
Right now my setup feels too improvised for proper harvests, especially with multiple strains and large colas. Curious what other growers are doing in this situation!
Latest finished grow, but started a couple new yesterday, will get there eventually and have same problem.

Hey growmies 👋🌱
Up until now, I’ve always dried my harvests in DryFerm bags and then moved everything into jars with hygrometers for curing, so I don’t really have another method to compare it to yet.
I’d really love to try the "Astronaut Method" next and finally hop on the DryRocket 🚀 to see how it performs compared to my usual process.
My biggest challenge with drying and curing has always been figuring out that perfect moment to transition from drying into curing. I know about the “snap test” and a few other tricks people mention, but honestly it still feels a bit mysterious to me 😅
My next harvest is coming up soon, and these 3 ladies should be ready before long 🌿✨

My current drying setup is a smaller tent used only for drying harvests. Right now, I dry with the exhaust fan running continuously, while a humidifier is set to maintain around 60% RH.
I also try to keep the temperature close to 16°C as much as possible.
Even with this setup, I still have difficulty maintaining stable conditions and balanced airflow, which often causes the flowers to dry too quickly. My average drying time is around 7 days, and I know there is still a lot of room for improvement in this part of the process.
Drying is always one of the most stressful stages of the entire grow when you don’t have the right setup.
After months of work, this is the moment where the final quality can still be lost very quickly.
I’m always trying to improve this part of the process because I know how important proper drying is for preserving terpenes, aroma, and overall flower quality.
I believe DryRocket could help me keep the drying process fully under control and take the final flower quality to an even higher level.
My next harvest should be ready around mid-June, and another one around mid-July.

I don’t have a drying setup at all. Just hang the plant and let it do its thing. I try controlling the humidity and temperature with the help of a humidifier and the tent’s fans. It’s really not a reliable way of doing it but it is what it is. The biggest struggle I would say is the humidity part. I just can’t reliably achieve slow dries where the humidity ends up where I want it before the trim. My next harvest is expected in about 2-3 weeks.

I dry with the whole plant chopped upside down in the tent they grow in. My problem is changing drying times depending on the season and hard to control humidity since the grow room is a living space as well. Another problem is the lack of growing space. I try to plan my grows in a overlapping time period so the next batch of plants can go into my AutoPots once the current plants are harvested; but by using the tent to dry as well I either need to wait for another ten days or dry with the lights turned on.
My next harvest will be a Slurricane, an Atomic Blue Dream and a Jamine Panna Cotta, they are due in the first half of june.

Hi Folks
Currently and in the past I'm drying my yield in dryingnets. It is a really easy but seemingly unprecise way to do so. Using the snap test an trimming after it the curing starts. Some buds are really heavy terpene keepers and some not. I guess due to the drying method by now.
At least this way depends on the weather and has no control at all.
My current run
is coming to an end on the near future, but the next will start right away after it

Hi Dry Rocket team,
I use my tent, humidifier, dehumidifier for drying. My biggest problem is to get consistent values for the golden vpd triangle. The next harvest will be around the 22 of may. The link to my diary’s growdiaries.com/grower/goweed
Good luck everyone
Hallo Rocket Team,

Hey everyone 👋🌱
I currently dry my harvests in a renovated basement room where I hang whole branches instead of individual buds for a slower and more even dry.
The room is connected to my grow setup, so the air is constantly exchanged through the exhaust systems of my two tents.
Depending on the season, temperatures are usually around 18-21°C during colder months and 20-23°C during warmer periods, with humidity mostly between 55-65%.
I use a humidifier and dehumidifier when needed, although the dehumidifier is definitely used more often.
I mainly grow organically with BioTabs and focus heavily on quality over quantity, so preserving terpenes and aroma is extremely important to me.
My biggest problem is consistency during drying.
Every harvest dries a little differently and I often notice terpene loss and that typical hay smell, especially during warmer weeks. I also still have one corner in the room with old moisture damage and wall mold, which always makes me uncomfortable while drying.😥
Another issue is the smell control, once I open the door, the whole house and even outside area smells strongly.😭
My drying times are usually around 8-10 days, but I never fully feel in control of the process. That’s exactly why the DryRocket interests me so much.
I would love to see how much a more controlled environment could improve terpene retention, aroma, consistency and overall flower quality.
My next harvest should be ready within the next 6-7weeks and includes Candy huslte, Chicken n Wafflez, mango sherbert and nutter budder.
I document my grows in detail and would absolutely share the full drying process, environmental data and final smoke results with the community.
I think my setup would make for a very realistic test because many homegrowers deal with similar non-perfect drying conditions. 🌱💚

My current drying setup is just my grow tent with basic airflow and exhaust control 🌱
My biggest issue so far has been keeping the humidity stable enough during drying. I can usually keep temps in range, but RH tends to drop too fast which makes me worry about drying too quickly and losing terps.
My next harvest should be ready in around 6–8 weeks 🤞🔥
Really interested in testing the DryRocket and sharing honest results with the community 💚

I have a classic hang and dry setup on the grow tent.
Biggest problem is not having a clear reserved place and optimal control of humidity and airflow.
2 harvests coming next week's and one coming in 6 weeks:

It looks like im gonna be drying inside my 5x5 tent once this run is done. I'll probably be doing a full plant hang as Ive found that easier to manage in the past! I usually run my square fan and the inline as well to manage humidity and airflow.
My biggest problems with drying has always been temperature and humidity control. Lost parts of previous grows to mould. Soured a few batches because of poor temp control, everything ended up smelling like dry grass. My drying process is still very manual — constantly checking and adjusting airflow, temperature and humidity multiple times a day.
My next harvest will be in about 3-4 weeks. Currently have 3 autoflowers that are nearing their end. 2x Critical Orange Punch from Dutch Passion and 1x Gorilla Cookies from FastBuds. Dense buds, crazy rotten sweet fruit aromas, the kind of harvest I’d love to properly test in the DryRocket!

My current drying setup ,is above my Grow lights for roughly 8 to 10 days ,then into paper bags placed into a large tub, to slow the drying ,after 3 or 4 days I put all buds into jars ,after a final trim , after 4 wks I start to smoke it 😀. Biggest issue drying ,is that the surrounding air is too dry ,as I have to do all my drying in my bedroom in my apartment 🙈. My next harvest will be in 6 weeks.

First and foremost, a warm greeting to the grow community.
At first, I always dried my buds in the grow tent using DryFerm Bags. It worked, but not particularly well. I always followed the manufacturer’s instructions, weighing the bags every day and only transferring the buds to jars with Boveda packs or Grove Bags once they hadn’t lost any weight for three days in a row. Unfortunately, the buds were always too dry afterward for proper curing. In my last grow cycle, I chose a different method. After harvesting, I simply hung the plants upside down in the tent and then used Home Assistant to build a PID controller for my Dyson Hot+Cool, which, with the help of AC Infinity sensors in the tent, kept the temperature exactly at my desired level. I had the AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro and an AC Infinity humidifier regulate the relative humidity, or VPD.
I used the following strategy:
Day 1: 22.2°C and a relative humidity of 55% (VPD 1.2 kPh).
Day 2: 22.2°C and a relative humidity of 55% (VPD 1.2 kPh). During the first two days, surface moisture evaporates while moisture from the interior is drawn outward through adhesion.
Day 3: 23.3°C and a relative humidity of 52% (VPD 1.39 kPh). Now the transpiration rate is increased slightly without overtaxing the adhesion.
Day 4: 23.9°C and a relative humidity of 50% (VPD 1.5 kPh).
Day 5: 23.9°C and a relative humidity of 50% (VPD 1.5 kPh). Over the last two days, we now reduce the residual moisture to about 10%, and the buds can be placed in jars or Grove Bags.
A big thanks to the guys at Growmotion, who came up with this strategy.
This approach works great, but I’m worried that during my next harvest, either the temperature or the relative humidity will be too high, and I won’t be able to cool the tent very effectively. I won’t know how much my monoblock air conditioner will help until I’ve tried it out. My next harvest is around May, 25th and my biggest problem so far has been either achieving the right residual moisture level for curing or simply not having enough control over the key parameters of temperature and humidity. The next harvest will be in 77 days, which is around July 28, 2026.
