@m0use, couldn't have said it better man. @pampa1989 I hold out my hand, I apologise for being a dick, which I was. And what I said was just hot air, much respect for you and your grows. I haven't read your replies nor am so going to. m0use is 100% correct. Silliness really, there's enough real issues going on in the EU atm. And if anything our focus should be building each other up, as there's enough hate already on here and in general, regardless of what you say, I am sorry, my bad. You are right, there is ppl who have entered unfairly and me, personally I have called ppl out for entering winning diaries into new contests when they have many other grows also. @GrowDiaries once a diary had won a award that should be it, as it's unfair as the grower knows it's a good diary, anyways my point is I would normally fully agree with u. But when u said BS...I just snapped, and reacted poorly. Anyways best of luck pampa RESPECT!

@pampa1989, @gottagrowsometime, I think there was small disconnect here between the two of you. let me try and repair that. I can confirm @gottagrowsometime was indeed an apprentice when they entered this contest. It was not BS. As for them winning grower of the month in Feb, there was a lot of shit that happened in that month from the fact it was only 2 weeks long and delayed by more then a week and half. Not a lot of people entered it, nor did many try very hard as it started mid month. I did not make that easy either, I had top score and kept taking most points, the amount 2nd and 3rd place won by was not a lot maybe +/- 5-10 points. Normally its a good 25-50 point separation. real dog eat dog. Its also a contest that anyone can enter as long as your answer is picked to a grow question. Hell I won Gold on my first go at it. and was also just an apprentice at that time. Only been master for a month or so now. @pampa1989 not to shit on @gottagrowsometime,, but their grows reflect their time on the site, they have room to improve and they knows this, working hard will get them into the top ranks should they want to do that. With this in mind, I would not have thought they are one of the crazy pro growers pulling 9+oz of a plant and entering this contest with a malicious intent. I truly believe they are just trying to have a good time and learn a thing or two. You two got off on the wrong foot, some nasty comments where tossed at each other, got some egos puffed and and prides bruised, this may not be a viable thing but I though I would try and smooth over the waters for yea to get along and be a part of the community. Having some friends here is fun, just gotta try not to take everything so personal and recognize this site is so far from perfect its deleterious. @gottagrowsometime, doesn't appear that you have a diary that is eligible for this contest or dotm. You must have a completed harvest and only single strain diaries are usually eligible for these contests.

@gottagrowsometime, I understand what your saying. In the contest rules state the following. "It must be your first grow" and "you must be of newbie and apprentice rank" now if these rules are enforced is a while other topic lol. It is not the first grow for a lot of the people in this contest, and when I was a aprentice I tried entering this contest a few times always loosing to others who made new accounts to exploit this, fuck them. As for "ranking" between newbie apprentice and master... I was a apprentice for years before coming mater. I never was involved in the community and that's a big way to gain [likes] and rank up, If you entered the contest as an newbie/apprentice and then grew to master, no shame, I think you should stay in it. When I made this comment it was 3 weeks ago when you where still an apprentice. Some people may not relase this info and might react in a way that they would not should they have had this info befor hand. In the end we gotta remind ourselves of the following things. 1. the ranking system on this site is garbage and mean jack shit. way to easy to exploit and does not determine skill set or knowledge. 2. there is a lot of hiccups with this site and things that get lost, no amount of flagging will fix it. It's a free platform and we need to keep that in mind. 3. the trolls will never go away and will try and cheat and swindle their way to free seeds. As long as you are honest to yourself and others here I think you will get along just fine, Just have to take a break if you feel overwhelmed and remember its only the internet.

@m0use, I get the whole ppl being mad at grand masters entering. But I entered fairly so have a lot of ppl. Think of it. If you have 850likes but have to wait to join until you get a harvest and then turn master just as the end of the comp, so what we shouldn't be counted. And m0use the guy you are talking to. Has a 1.9yr account with 38likes @pampa1989. So, you can't even go off by time, nor should it be a 1000 likes before you turn master. Some ppl only have 1st set of grows like me, or just 1 grow. Like Lfarmmarket got 3000likes in a wk, so, yeah the system is wrong but for those who fairly joined, as I did and probably most the master growers. Anyways just thought I'd add my 2cents.

@m0use, what you just described is so sad. Sad that sponsors are willing to gift people who shouldn't even been in the competition. This kind of checks seems to me at very least the basic that they should be doing. Anyway. Good luck to you!

@Happyjack42, winners are not finalized yet. The gold banners are automatic when the contest countdown timer ends. They are not reflective of the wining choices made by Grow Diaries, Notice how their is ten of them like Diary Of The Month but the contest says their is only 3 winners. I have seen this happen in January and once the winners are announced and trophies given out it can be very different. Good Luck!
