dataTwiiix # Germination went well, the seed was dark and striped. It sprouted its taproot in the glass of water and rooted in +/-96 hours with a little help. 💯 So far, Zamnezia seeds 🌱🌱🌱 #
08/14: Zamnezia gifted me 3x3 seeds to try their varieties. So a big thank you to Zamnezia!
I only put one GSC auto Zamnezia seed to germinate today.
As for the growing method, I'm still hesitating because I just acquired a waterfarmer from GHE: a percolation system. Well, I have +/- 5 days to decide!
By the way, if anyone has advice for me regarding the use of a hydroponic percolation system, I'm all ears!
Great day at the growdiaries.com community 🌞🌱🌱🌱🌞
Barely 7 hours after putting it in the glass of water, and there it is already at the bottom of the glass. 💦🌞🌱😜
08/15: 24 hours in the glass of water Hr: 70% T°: 23°C and still nothing, no sprout. The magnifying effect of the glass allowed me to see that the seed was opening like a mold, the sprout should be out soon. Normally, within 24 hours, the sprout should be visible. Typically, it takes me +/- 5 days to germinate a seed!
I'm still hesitating about using the waterfarmer because I need to buffer the clay pebbles as well as the rockwool, which I hadn't anticipated. For the rockwool, it seems pretty simple: soak for 24 hours in a solution with a pH between 5.5 and 6 for +/- 48 hours (damn, I forgot to add root juice and canna start to my solution). For the clay pebbles, it gets more complicated; they need to be cleaned and buffered, even those from Plagron (I'm very surprised they didn't buffer their pebbles meant for hydroponics themselves). After doing a bit of research, I found some already cleaned pebbles with a low pH but not specified, supposedly ready for use. We'll see about that tomorrow when the package arrives.
In any case, if I don't use the waterfarmer, I'll use a 15L geo-textile pot (lightmix/coco/perlite/worm humus/guano/trichoderma) 3 parts lightmix for one part coco and humus, the rest read the instructions :D
23:03: I see the radicle coming out feverishly thanks to the "nutela" glass 😂 which has a bottom that has a magnifying effect, the waterfarmer will be for the next plant :(, lesson to remember, do your research before doing anything!
08/16: The seed has germinated 💚 and the seed was slightly opening; I could see the green/white of the cotyledons in the opening.
I directly planted it in its 15L pot.
08/17: No news. Patience, friends 💂♂️💂♂️🌞
08/19: Here it comes feverishly ✌️. By tonight, it should be upright or almost :)#1

dataTwiiix 08/18: first week of veg. I’ve rebalanced the substrate amendment ratio. I hope that apart from Canna calmag (recommended when using LED systems like Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer, I couldn't say why) and a bit of Biobizz fish mix as a foliar spray, I shouldn’t need to add any nutrients before the 3rd week of flowering. To say I'm going to hit it with PK 13-14/Canna Boost Accelerator which together work miracles according to the canna.fr site.
As for the growing technique, after closely examining how a plant develops. I will, and since this time I didn’t forget to plant in a corner of the pot, apply LST and defoliation will be on the menu. And this time I won’t change my mind a thousand times 😜😜🌱🌞🎉
08/19: it’s growing!

dataTwiiix 08/25: A new week starts regarding the chosen technique. I think this will be my last pure LST and that I'll do more "main-lining" and simple topping with stakes for the lateral branches in case I'm feeling lazy. Because there's no doubt, I finally dared to do it on a plant in another diary and wow, it's not as difficult as I imagined and much simpler than LST, which requires handling the plant almost every day for two days.. sorry, I'm digressing. 😨 I'm frozen. :D
More seriously, back to the plant, it seems to have decided to kick it into high gear after more than 13 days of very, very slow growth. Well, I tried to put the seedlings directly under 25000Lux/LED (Spider Farmer SF1000 at 40% at +/- 40cm). Maybe that's too much, but a seedling in nature under full sun doesn't get 25k lux; it's more than 100k lux. Something to think about. The healthiest growth I've had so far was under CFL, and I think I'll get it back in operation soon, just for the seedlings when I have my 3rd box, which will have two separate compartments. 😅 #8
08/27: Start of Light Stress Training. See photo. 💦 200ml/Canna Start, Root Juice, B52 (B52 from Advanced Nutrients is perfect for helping the plant cope with staking). #10

09/07: slow growth, very short internodes, on the zamnesia sheet they describe their G.S.C. as 99% sativa, 1% ruderalis, but looking at it I lean more towards an indica-dominant hybrid x ruderalis #21

dataTwiiix 09/08: 4th week of veg. Slow growth with very short internodes. I think the grow duration will be over 10 weeks. Training update in the evening because we're experiencing a heatwave.🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞☇☈⛆⛆⛆🌕 #22
09/10: end of the heatwave... it's hot and humid, the fans are running at full speed ☈🌡️🌩️ #24
09/11: temperatures and humidity are becoming more pleasant! 😁. The internodes are so short that L.S.T. is being updated every day right now. #25
09/12: half schwanzzing: only the large leaves that were already paired with branches that had already developed 2 internodes. (The lower branches then). #26

09/17: the plant is staying small oddly, I’m going to have to do the first watering with runoff, I hope it has developed a big enough root mass to pump up a max of nuts and speed up its stretching. #31

dataTwiiix 09/22: Here we go, the flowering is starting. I think I might have underwatered a bit, which slowed down the growth. It's even starting to stretch, which will allow me to cover the entire surface of this 15L pot that contains a good portion of coco and perlite to facilitate drainage and avoid overwatering. This time, I plan to just use flowering boosters like bud candy/BigBud/overdrive and nirvana, along with the essential micronutrients for the proper assimilation of this fertilizer already present in the substrate, the TopCrop bat guano 10-3-2 if I'm not mistaken, which should help kick off the flowering and then pk 13 14 to give strength to the buds. If no deficiencies show up before I can apply my plan #35.

dataTwiiix 10/13: the fourth week of flowering. It’s now that we bring out the boosters like pk13-14 boost accelerator / big bud (from CANNA and A.N. respectively). Despite everything, for a fourth week of flowering, I find her a bit sad and her LST is a real mess: in the end, I'm going to have a bud shaped like a bushy shrub 😂 #56

dataTwiiix 10/26: another week of flowering. I'm pretty disappointed with my performance, the GSC is in 15L of substrate: I probe the substrate and realize that it’s not heavily colonized, yet I’ve given it all the imaginable care. When I'm done with this one, I’ll test the version from FB42. #70

dataTwiiix I was waiting to be able to taste the GSC. I'm thrilled to finally taste it, but well. I'm going to germinate two GSC as soon as I have space in my closet 😎.
Looks like those buds are taking shape 😎 looking good 👍. I was looking through your nutrient line up Growmie, damn! That’s a lot of bottles, that must have cost a small fortune. I’m not saying which are better, but I’m getting great results from three bottles, the Indo nutrient line, max bud, grow, and max minerals. Cost me less than 40$ off Amazon, and the only bottle I need more of is the Max grow (500 ml package ) as it is used the most.
@Jays_Not_Here_Man, I don't use nutrients since the base is already in my soil, I use a flowering booster from time to time and a bit of biobizz bloom at the start of flowering. But for example, when you apply a schwanzzing, it's better to have some micro/macro nutrients on hand :)
@Jays_Not_Here_Man, I take what suits me best from each line of nuts. And yes, it’s expensive, but it’s still cheaper in the end, long live auto-dependence ;)
Im doing a gsc from grizzly seeds at the moment around week 3 of flower but buds are still smallish but shes a big auto. Im feeding bio bloom and top max.
