@Roberts, They do what they please, Experienced growers winning the noob contests. Other contest's having winners that did not follow all of the rules listed.
I am more curious as to why a diary that is only 3 weeks into flower is entered. Selecting a diary that does not have a harvest yet seems a bit strange to me.

Edit: Ah mouse explains above. The grower gets selected and chooses what diary they want to enter.

But about growers,
We don't know really who are Girl or man or others genre....
And as @SlowpokeFuegobud said, grower is grower, personally I don't care if girls or boys, I just want see nice grow with nice plants. 👨🌾👩🌾🌲🌲

I was informed about this one in a email from GrowDiaries!
1. For participation, 12 Diary of the Month winners (1st place from each month, if a grower is already on the list, 2nd would be chosen etc), and other 12 notable growers would be chosen.
2. Each participant presents one cannabis grow diary that was started in 2022 and has a harvest or will have a harvest at the end of the year.
3. After the contest launch, a jury team from several growing companies would be assembled to choose 3 winners.
I was selected as one of the notable growers for this years contest, I let them know what diary I'd like to use and told them I started my main tent grows for 22' in Dec of 21' and hope this does not disqualify me, looks like it does not :D
I Wanted to be as open and transparent from the get go to prevent any issues down the road. I wonder if DOTM Amumni get to pick the strain or just the notable mentions?
I see two users with two entries into the contest and I bet this will be corrected in a little bit, It is to be 24 individual diaries from 24 different people.
I am curious to see what the prizes are like in the coming months and how many slots there will be, 1st, 2nd & 3rd like previous years? or may a top 5?
Previous years contests "did not happen for 21' and 22'??, I would have thought this was DOTY-2022 vs 2023 as 2023 has not started yet, again maybe a small error or something."

@Sciolistic_Steve, I think it was the one in 2020, the only host that sent out the prize was fast buds, out of three the rest of the other hosts all bailed.
I hope this is not the case, but as of right now, they don't have anyone listed in the contest. maybe its hush hush and going to be a big surprise or maybe they legit don't have any yet and are flying by the seats of there pants. its on brand for both options. But I am curious to see. I want a full body track suit in the most tacky ass weed plastered shit ever! Wear it to my next Family/High School Reunion and act like I was just crowned the worlds sexist bitch.

@Roberts, maybe, I'm hoping not. after not doing it for 2 years figured they might add in a little something extra special near the end. I know FastBuds and I think Spider Farmer has included a 4th or 5th in some of their sponsored things that only have 3 top spots, maybe it will follow suit. Still don't know the prizes, I'm hoping there is over flow for others to be a part of the top few.
