Not trying to be a hater or call people out, but some people, (at least 2 that I can tell) are NOT newbies. One diary is straight up titled 5th grow and the other dude has like 8 diaries so how the fuck is he a newbie!! I’m not even in this competition so I don’t care, but I don’t get how they’re allowed to participate in the NEWBIE challenge??? I thought this was for first grow only...

Hey @LumberjackBuds you haven’t harvested anything for any of your diaries yet so as far as I see absolutely no controversy as far as you’re concerned. The grower I’m talking about has been in like every newbie contest since I’ve been a member on here and has multiple harvests under their belt. Like I said I really don’t have a dog in this fight as I’m not in the competition this month BUT I don’t think it’s fair to those who are actually first timers like yourself to go up against a seasoned grower in a “First Grow” competition. Again not trying to be a bitch here I love the site and just want people to play fair...

@TreeTent310, I have 18 diaries which just means 18 strains, but I’m completely new to growing cannabis, just not gardening. I wonder if I’ll create the same controversy when I harvest my first diaries. I’ve only seen my friends grow once or twice a month. Flowering I have never seen in person so I’m constantly asking questions.

@CRiSPrGrow, I considered it but it's a lot of work. I got 2 going already and have barely had time to keep pics up to date. I might end up doing it last minute tho cuz this is probably the only real shot I have at ever winning anything on here. Wont be able to compete with the big guns any time soon lol.
