@StickyDiary , The brand from last year in question that won was Cookies, and they are amercian owned from my understanding. GD is European owned, I don't think they are the same entity.

@Zizidoem, There is no reason to grow a 1lb plant indoors and absolutely does not take any skill to do in and of itself. The premise of using this simple thing to evaluate a grower is flawed. If someone wants to do it, good for them, but growing a 1lbs plant isn't strongly correlated to the things you project onto it. Grams per sq ft would be a much better way to compare, and to be comprehensive the amount of time required would need to be considered, too. The bitterness is displayed by your backhanded, passive aggresive comments that lack any substance. You can feel autopots are the best, but objectively they are not. Saying so isn't a personal attack. A wick system is only good for soil context and even then it's not the best. Top-down irrigation will always be better. I didn't insult either of you before this reply - even re-read to make sure. Unlike you who posted some passive-aggressive shit in my diary and your little backhanded comments here. Pointing out things that contradict your feelings is not a personal attack, but some are coming in the next paragraph. Since it's not an adult conversation I might as well play in the dirt, too.... Your perceptions of what constitutes a good grower are unsophisticated and unresolved. You don't understand teh finer points of soilless growing and why it is incompatible with a bottom-feed setup. You don't understand the difference between productivity and production. Your conclusions seem to be solely based on your fanboy enamoration with some guy wasting electricity and his own time to impress the lowest common denominator on social media, since you offered up no other reason as to why it's the best irrigation setup. Pointing out flaws in a conclusion is not intimating that i am 'king of growers.' That's an absurd figment of your imagination and merits no response. Back to real reasons that aren't personal... Even my simple diy irrigation setup (up to 12 plants) is better than autopot for soilless growing. My setup is 1/4th the cost or less, and it has zero risk of flooding. Just another marijuana-branded product with a grotesque profit margin. So, let's add "exorbitant cost" to the growing list of why autopots are not the best. So, your reasoning is based on some guy growing a big autoflower vs extra maintenance to make it work well, extra cost due to price-gouging, and it is incompatible with soilless growing unless you want to shit all over one of the primary benefits of that growing method. If all you can grow is what looks like a larfy 20-gram autoflower, maybe you are the one out of their depth? I can grow a 1lb plant, easily, and with a competiively short vege length to do so. It's just retarded to do that indoors, and so is growing autoflowers indoors, for that matter. "Yea, i want greater volatility and more inconsistent outcomes. Give me an autoflower, stat!"

Where i am right now ? Its imposible to grow outdoors. We have a very very short summer. And moose and deer would eat everything. Indoor is a must. The way i learned, good genetics, good subs, good feed, consistency, autopot gave me those. Clean system, and it works good without me handfeeding the ladys everyday. I do per week. And aernt u the one with the passive agressivness? I couldnt u understand why u would react like that. Not alone to me but to everyone who would even disagree a lil with u. Iv seen your replys. @00110001001001111O, I have heard rumors their was a 2nd database leak and all saved address, emails, usernames where compromised but not for everyone. getting doxed sucks, but getting doxed when its taboo in your country is even worse and GD should ban and block that IP/address from ever getting back on the site.
