Hi there, i don't think it'll be easy to predict which way around which genetic traits are being taken over when you cross them.. If you look at the principles of inheritance (Gregor Mendel) and especially the "alleles" you will see that it will take a couple of generations until specific wanted traits really manifest themselves. I think in the beginning it will be quite a lot of hit and miss, and you should then use the follow-up generations with the best traits that you like for further crossing and strengthening the genetics.
