How long before harvest?

Hello growers! I'm at my first experience here and would be grateful for some feedback on harvesting time. I know I should look at trichomes but I'm not sure I'll have the right tools in time. I'm at flowering week 7 and RQS recommended flowering for 8-9 weeks. Thanks!!!

Week 10 should be good to go unless you want more ambers and more of a body stone. Then 11-12 weeks.

I would keep them untill they start to look like trump.
Once they start oranging just cut up.
That would be my take on it.

When to start the bloom additives?Thanks for your help. Should I begin to give bloom fertilizer now. Since I added some worm casings to my soil every time I add nitrogen base it causes her to suffer. I believe I gave to much to nitrogen this way. Water and cal/mag she loves.Week 5

How long until I should harvest my northern light?She's at day 50 now and her pistils are already getting quite orangey/brown (see diary), which seems rather early to me, also compared to other diaries of her strain. Back building budsHey guys anyone ever tried back building buds? I tried it late in my last grow on one cola and the cola solidified; ie. more dense but not bigger I think I was a bit late. I’m almost 3 weeks in right now, would now be a perfect time?

Is it normal for bud sites to develop this low to the base?Buds growing very close to base.Never seen this before and I only caught it because I was removing the crumbling bottom leafs that haven’t gotten light in two weeks. These aren’t where normal popcorn buds grow, is this a strain thing? They will not get any light, should I remove?

No sign of flowering, see close up picturesGirls are looking really good but no sign of flowering. It has been 40 days from germination, please see close up pictures in week 5.
I learned from other websites that 12-12 light schedule could be used to initiate flowering.

YieldThis is my first grow. My hand is in the picture for size reference. I believe it is starting to flower. This grow is being done in a trashcan and is a micro grow. Does anyone have any idea what kind of yield I will get? Or if there is anything i can do to maximize the yield?
