I noticed my plant was getting dark a few weeks ago, people agreed with me it was the beginning of nitrogen toxicity. I haven't fed the plant anything since. Just water phd to 4.5 . I also added a few extra cups of roots organic soil on top after a spill.it has only gotten worse

Your water ph is definitely too low, you’ll want to balance it to 5.8min-6.7maxium. Another solution might be to use microbial inoculante. If you start to use microbes like great white, recharge, etc. It will help with nutrient cycling and abiotic stress. When using microbial inoculants and testing the ph of the soil, the microbes actually make the ph of the substrate fluctuate which allows the plant to absorb the proper nutrients it needs during these ph fluctuations. Besides that the microbes help convert organic matter into food for the plant and the microbes can also help prevent over/under feeding. Edit: just saw your issue with ph being too high, this is fine watering with low ph for now but you’ll want to keep a close eye on your runoff ph!

wooooahhh ph 4.5..your way to low isaiah ..let your pot dry out then give dechlorinated tap water only.DO NOT ADJUST THE PH.....DONT ADD ANYTHING, also raise your lights a bit, shes under even stress as it is, water to 1/10th of your pot size,,so for a 10lrt pot give 1 ltr of water/ half dose feed.( EVERY 3/4 DAYS..I DO FEED/WATER/WATER/FEED/COMPOSTE TEA/FEED/WATER/WATER/FEED AND SO ON) keep an eye on ph and mix a bit of unsuphered molasses (about 1/4 teaspoon every other watering) Ease of on the nitrogen until the new growth appears and in good health. Gradually introduce her to more intense light as her health picks up and shes ready to bust the room wide open.im sure you will have it dialled in soon enough. Good luck my friend 👍

If you’re needing to reduce the runoff ph, you need to flush. Don’t add any water outside of the ph range even when flushing and use around 5 times the container volume. 5 gallon pot, use 15 gallons of water etc

Heya, Your pH is a little too low and the plant won't be able to absorb nutrients. For soil pH of water should be 6-7 and 5.5-6.2 for hydro/coco. Have you measured run off EC/ppm?
