Cannabis don't really need Si to grow, but if you add it during veg or preflo you'll get: a) Better photosynthesis with an increase in metabolism due the increase of clorophyl production b) Si wil be translocated to the leaves making the cell walls thicker and more resistant to pest (specially on fungi). c) Stronger stems. d) Increased Co2 Absortion. e) Reduce de uptake of heavy metals on soil. f) It can've interactions with the inmune system of the plant reducing the symptoms of viral diseases. But please don't use it during flowering, Just don't use it in flowering, the majority of this products will need some time to get absorbed, so if you use an enzyme product you'll help your plant to digest it.

Depending on the strain you are growing, some require more silica it can obtain from the soil or nutrients you are using. It helps with plant structure and strength. If you find your plant is a little flimsy and weak stemmed, and all is good with your light intensity and such.. Add silica to strengthen your plants structure... All plants need it in some way, just in different levels. I hope this helps, good luck
