Hi, Guys, I plan to move my plants outdoors next week. Will the change in the light schedule trip them from veg to flower? I really don't want this. They're currently @ 3 weeks on 18hrs indoors and outdoors they'll be getting 11hrs direct sunlight. Also, they're photo's not autos

If they get uninterrupted darkness for long enough to cause the hormonal balance to switch to bloom phase, then yes, it will cause that. You can do things to interrupt darkness. Get a light out there on a timer. It probably doesn't need to be a grow light, but a very weak light for a few hours might cause some stretch (either before sunrise or after sunset doesn't matter). You have the much easier of the 2 problems. Trying to block light outside isn't fun. some contraption with heat and airflow issues, lol. If it's been out there 1 or 2 nights, probably okay? You'll know soon enough if you have confused her. She'll pop some weird looking leaves you cannot mistake for anything else. it'll grow out of it, even if it does. No worries. If it's out too many days with that long of a dark period each night, it can take ~30 days to re-vege fully.

Hi, as soon as you bring it out to 11 hours of light, it will bloom :-) I would really wait a bit for it 👍🙏🏻

Yes Nobody01 summed it up quite nicely honestly. Just do it really lol. It's the shift in light that does it as well as the Darkness. When I grew outdoors last year 3 plants we had going started flower before sunrise and sunset was 12 hours apart.. The "lower" light of dusk and dawn in my area is enough for the lady to think she needed to start to flower, but keep in mind this is also on the principle of receiving less and less light each day not even close to 11 hours of direct sunlight. I'm in the mountains so our Sunset and Dawn can be quite dramatic and we only get like 6-7 hours of light during winter.

Hi there! Photoperiod cannabis strains starts to flower when there is atleast 12 of uninterrupted darkness and there is a technique called lantern run, where you walk slowly with lantern over your cannabis during night. Thius will break the 12h continues darkness and only 10 seconds of light will prevent the girls from flowering! So if you are worried you can add lantern run during night so they will stay in veg as long as you want!

-in the UK we are currently getting 18hrs daylight, sunrise @5am-9pm sunset.. They should b ok and not go into flowering.. Ive had a green gelato mother in my balcony window for last 2wks and she has still not gone into flower so i will b repotting her in a month then put her in cupboard for 12/12 periods of darkness to induce flowers thru summer period.. Stay safe n gud luck with ur gardening.. 👍🍀

Hello.. Hope you are well.. If ur only getting 11hrs of natural daytime then yes they will start to change in approximately 2-3wks of being outside..dont forget plants usually double in size by time they ready for harvest.. Just keep them under artificial light until ur happy to plant outside.. They will just continue in veg mode if kept on 18hrs +.. Stay safe n gud luck with her.. 👍🍀
