mostly genetics, but cooler temps (not so cool you reduce yield) and better airflow around colas will maximize what the seed can do. I think lower humidity ~40% is good for multiple reasons, but also helps keep them tighter if not mistaken. it's good stress for trichome development either way. i think there are some hormones you can buy? i wouldn't suggest that, though. too much light can cause foxtailing and worse, so it's more about the right amount of light and evenly applied.

I have a secret ritual dance that I perform 3 times during the flowering process...🕺... The first samba is during wk 2 of flower, right at the end of stretch.... Timing the first dance is crucial for success.... Now in wk 4 of flower if growth is vigorous is time for the next samba...🕺🕺... If growth is slow wait for wk 5 of flower... After you have nailed both of your first routines it is now time to start checking trichomes 🔍🔍🔍 once you see 85-90% cloudy it is time for the last waltz...🕺🕺🕺...I see 125% increases in density when these are timed correctly. For a more couchy effect wait until you see 10% amber then perform the last waltz. Early testing also seems to indicate if the last waltz is replaced with a very classy version of the stanky leg that you will see increased terp production...hope this helps. Happy growing ✌️👊

There is no way to change the genetic of the plant but genetics is the key and abundance good quality light as well so for instance if you are growing a sativa base plans then you're going to have more fluffy buds if you are growing a indica you are more likely to have more dense hard buds all comes down to genetics and sufficient light to make it happen. Hope this information help good luck with your garden.

Hey buddy this is genetically determined for the most part :-) You can add pk 13/14 in 2 waterings during the 5-7 week if not on organic soil cultivate ;-) that gives a little more density 👍

autoflowers tend to make fluffier buds more often than regular ones in my experience.because of their breed history. high temps in late flowering causes fluffy buds as well. genetics play a big big role in that. more light always makes bigger buds some nutrients are helpful to create bigger buds but density is in genetics in the end.dont think about nutrients, their role is too little. environmental conditions + genetics decide the quality of buds.

It's light.. It is one of the biggest difference you can make. CO2 would go hand and hand with higher Light Levels. And of course a balanced and intelligent nutrient feed.
