Twisted growth - genetics?

The Blackberry Kush has been experiencing some twisted, deformed growth since it first germinated, while my Fastbuds Blackberry has been growing strong under the same conditions. Autofertigated buffered coco, 15-20% perlite mix. Runoff also 1.1ec. Just an issue of genetics?

ok, in this case i agree that it shouldn't be an EC issue, so then i'd go with genetics.. Only if you see the same behavior with more grows in the same environment, i'd start looking into a possible root cause, but sometimes those one-offs just happen. happy growing!

Да, вероятней всего это проблема генетики, я часто это встречал у черничных и пурпурных гибридов

Yeah, you understood right! The runoff EC is the same as the input. Because the medium never dries, you never get an EC spike so 1.1 healthy for this style of coco grow.

Hi there.. first i think that EC 1.1 is already quite high for a plant in that stage, but of course there are more influences like the environment, the intensity of the lamp and especially growth-rate that can change the requirements. Is the run-off the same as what you put in (or did i misunderstand the word "autofertigated"?)? Odds are, that it's genetics though, especially when the other plant is showing no issue in the same environment. Then again, different strains have different environmental preferences, like warmth and so on. In either way, that's an interesting setup you have there. happy growing!
