Change light schedule mid-flower

Has anyone ever changed their light schedule mid-flower? I want to change from 6a-6p on/off to 8p-8a to avoid high daytime temps. I’ve heard you can do 24hrs dark and then change to whatever you want.

Yes I have before but I’ll change the timer back an 1 hr per day until I reach the time I prefer. Hope that helps ✌️🏾

Yep just make it so the plant gets 13 hours of darkness each day as you adjust up to the 8pm on / 8am off schedule... They'll be alright and you won't jack with the flowering routine.

My grow tent is sitting in my basement, which normally sits at 10C in the winter, so I set the heat in the room to 18C and the LED and 2 fans heat it to 20.4C in the tent.
Anyone have a similar setup but using their grow lights as a heat source? Heating a basement is expensive.

Can I use 18 on 6 off during flower when growing autoflowers and using ViparSpectra KS5000 LED at 100% power?I have a tent with a ViparSpectra KS5000 LED lights. If I am growing autoflowers and they are in the flower stage do I have to change the light/dark schedule from 18 on/6 off to 12 on/12 off or will it be ok to keep the lights on a 18/6 schedule since they are autoflowers?Week 4
