Hello growers! In this grow, I was planning to do my first SCROG since there's only one strain in the tent. Do you think the light stress will prevent them from reaching a suitable size? Is it better to switch techniques and apply an apical trim? Cheers! Happy growing!

Hi there! I honestly wouldn't use any sort of light stress, either too much or too little, to control growth. I think you are better off using apical pruning/topping to control growth and promote a bushy even canopy. You can also perform low stress training with plant ties to control the plants before weaving them into a SCROG net.
